Answer

"I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will look forth to see what he will speak with me, and what I shall answer concerning my complaint." Habakkuk 2.1

We have to be filled with that spirit in order to take possession of our rights. If God exists, as we believe, why would we accept any less than His Promises?

Make haste

“Therefore do my thoughts cause me to answer, and for this I make haste." Job 20.2

If faith in the Lord Jesus tells us He won it all for us, consequently, when we act our faith with attitudes, the response to what we have been crying out for must be immediate.

Revolt

“Even today my complaint is bitter; my hand is listless because of my groaning." Job 23.2

When rights are not acquired, revolt is ignited. Those who belong to God cannot wait till death for the fulfillment of His promises. Either they are they are true or false. If they are true, as we believe, then they must come to pass from now on! This faith is the faith we assumed.

The just vs. The wicked

"He who walks with integrity walks securely, but he who perverts his ways will become known." Proverbs 10.9
The just lives in tranquility and peace because his conscience does not accuse him of anything. The same does not happen to those living in sin. Their sinful conscience accuses them all the time and does not allow them to have peace.

The highways

"Blessed is the man whose strength is in You, in whose heart are the highways..." Psalm 84.5
The strength and success of a man is in his partnership with the God of Abraham. His heart does not fear when he sees the problems. He is happy in everything he does.

Sacrifices

“Has the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, As in obeying the voice of the LORDBehold, to obey is better than sacrifice, And to heed than the fat of rams." 1 Samuel 15.22

The offering of material goods without obedience to God's Word does not work. What good would it be if a prostitute, for example, offers one month worth of her gain but keeps selling her body? Would the Lord God accept such an offering?

The offering is something spontaneous from the soul that expresses sincere love. But the sacrifice involves total surrender of body, soul and spirit. It sacrifices body and soul. There is no reservation on the sacrifice. Saul sacrificed the body of an animal, but did not sacrifice his will in order to do God's will.

The three voices

The Voice of God the Father says: "Leave your country, your kindred and your father's house..."
The Voice of God the Son says, "If anyone would come after Me, let him deny himself, take up his cross and follow Me."
The voice of Satan says: "All these things I will give You if You will fall down and worship me."
Genesis 12:1, Mark 8:34 and Matthew 4:9

Three voices: one commands and the other two suggest. Which of the three have you heard?
