"A virtuous woman is a crown to her husband: but she that makes ashamed is as rottenness in his bones." Proverbs 12:4
A virtuous woman possesses at least three qualities: faith, hope and love. These qualities are seen by everyone and this makes her husband proud of her. However, a foolish woman is like a jewel in the snout of a pig and she is her husband's shame.
Wow. This message makes me think about my actions and my speech. I don't want to be a woman who makes my husband (or family, pastor, friends, colleagues) ashamed to know me. The Proverb says that this kind of woman is as rottenness to his bones... and sooner or later he will fall down. The last sentence really shook me:"...she is her husband's shame."
