Humbleness

"Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself."

Philippians 2:3

God sees everything we do, the good and the bad works. But what really matters though is who we are, that is, our character.

  2. We can do many things and even "appear" to do it for God before men, but only He knows the intention of our hearts, He knows who we REALLY are. If we truly do things for God with a humble spirit of a true servant, we will please him and consequently serve others as if we are serving God himself, putting them above ourselves. Only a person that has the character of God can do that!

  3. Thank you Mrs Ester. Character is very important because it shows who we really are. Sisterhood has really helped me to see why I do the things that I do and make the right decision to please God and do everything for the glory of God.

  4. So so so sooo important! We cannot do something, especially regarding God, because we want praise or some kind of reward. We must do it out of pleasure and love! That way, we can show who we truly are.

  5. We live in a world where selfish and personal interest are above others, just having the Spirit of God is that we are able to put others ahead of us. I think that small attitudes show if we are really so or not, but as you say God is the one that really knows us...***

  6. Dear Mrs Ester,

That's true. God doesn't see what we do, but He sees who we are. Thank you for such important message.

  7. This is so important! God see’s who we are, and everything we do and how we do it...

If we say we are of God, then we must have his character.
