Made perfect

"For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings."

Hebrews 2:10

Obedience is peculiar to the children of God. In light of this, they endure threats in their own flesh and keep a good conscience. Day after day, their faith is made perfect.

  1. To be a child of God, one thing is required - Obedience. We suffer hardships but we know we are being renewed, refined everyday and as you said, our faith is made perfect. Thank you for the verse.

  2. As it is written to obey is better than sacrifice. We know very well the result of disobedience as a child, we make wrong choices, those choices that later on we regret when is to late.
It is a compulsory part of our Christian lives. If we love God, we will obey His commands. We must obey not just part of His commands--not just the ones that we like or agree with. Thank you

  4. It's like because of that obedience they have the strength that comes from God,and though there are threats, they get through them and in the end are even better!

  7. Thank you Mrs Ester,
I cannot call myself a child of God if I do not want to submit to the things of God, I have to be obedient at all times.

  8. Keeping a clean conscience is so important. Many times the devil tries to numb our conscience, by making us relax in the small things. 'This is a small thing,'he says, 'God won't mind.' But, the problem is, if we are disobedient in small things, sooner or later we will be disobedient in big things. We have to constantly guard our conscience through obedience.

  9. It is important that we obey God's will. Or else how can we pray and ask the things we want from Him? Thank you Mrs Ester.

  10. When we are obedient in small things, we can be obedient in big ones, and the opposite also applies. In order to keep a clean conscience I must be obedient at all times. Thanks for sharing this post with us, Mrs. Ester
