Thirst

"If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink."

John 7.37

Many people have come to the Lord Jesus with the thirst to get the solution of their personal problems. But the thirst for Him in this passage refers to the permanent Plenitude of the Holy Spirit. Many people want Him but they show lack of thirst. The Plenitude of the Holy Spirit is only for those who are desperately thirsty of Him.

  1. We must have this thirst of the Holy Spirit every single day! We must fully depend on Him on all we do, and as long as we seek Him, we shall find Him.
Thanks for this message Mrs. Ester.

  2. There is never a time where we can have TOO MUCH of The Holy Spirit. We need to always be seeking him recognizing we're spiritually thirsty and only he can quench our spiritual thirst.

  4. Dear Mrs Ester,

As Sulma said above, We never can say that we have too much of the Holy Spirit, we always need Him, every single day, every single minute, second. I'm nothing without the Lord Jesus Christ.

Thank you for such blessed message.

  6. Hi Mrs Ester, thank you for this post it is so true. We have to always have this thirst every day even more. Though sadly many new people come to the church just in search of a miracle, or seeking something for their material life from God. Few come for God himself and His plenitude, it's sad. Only God to open their eyes and of course the help of others like assistants and Pastor's to instruct them they should seek first God's spirit. But those who do are even more blessed than they imagine.

  10. Hello Mrs. Ester,

We should always thirst for the Holy Spirit and always seek Him in first place. And seek Him because we need Him not for the benefits. Without the Holy Spirit we are lost. Thank You Mrs. Ester
