Holy Spirit

And so it is written, “The first man Adam became a living being.”[a] The last Adam became a life-giving spirit. I Corinthians 15.45
The generation from the first Adam is earthly, fleshly, and rebellious. It is impossible to keep communion with the Spirit of God. But the Last Adam, the Lord Jesus, is Spiritual and Vivifying. That's why it's important to be born of the Holy Spirit, so one can have the same spiritual and vivifying nature as the Lord Jesus'.

    Being born of the spirit is important because if we are not born of the lord Jesus. We will not have the communion him. Having the holy-spirit is a necessaries because we will have his character and his DNA which makes you god`s own.

    Mrs. Ester its so true without the Hloy Spirit we are nothing, if we dont take the sacrifice of JesusChrist we wont be born of Him. This message i will apply to my life.

    when one is born of God he has the DNA of God and that it makes it to be impossible for that person to displease God because he has he's DNA it is very important for us to be born of God.

    This message is strong Mrs Esther,without the Holy Spirit in this world we are nothing,in order for God to recognized us we must speak the same language with him,that is we must be born of the Holy Spirit.Thank you Mrs Esther.

    It is true that when you are born of the flesh, you are rebellious and you do not have the mind of God. Those who are born of the flesh do not get the things of the spirit because their mind is in the things of this world. Those born of the spirit have God’s nature or DNA, their heart is after God’s own heart. Those born of the spirit obeys God’s commandment and do everything that pleases Him. It is important to be like our Lord Jesus for He is spirit so we need to be spirit as well. That is why in Romans chapter 8 God says those who do not have the spirit do not belong to Christ this is because Jesus is spirit and if we do not have the spirit of God we do not belong to him i.e. we do not have His DNA or nature.

    This is strong and very clear. The first Adam was flesh; we are His creation, thats it. But we see that Jesus had to come to give us life. Without Him we are living but don't have life. Also He came to give His spirit. This shows us that if we do not have Him then we are flesh who will end up falling like the first Adam. Its when we receive the Holy spirit that we have life and we become like the One who gives. Our character won't be like Adams nature but like God.

    Oh yes. Being born of God's very own nature, what a great blessing. Inorder for us to even possess this nature we need to give up what is of the world and live as our heavenly father would. wow. Thankyou Mrs Esther.

    Those who are born of God overcome the world. That is why the generation of the first Adam was trouble some because they inherited it from their father, Adam. The second Adam brought life and repentance. And more the Holy Spirit.

    Hi Mrs. Esther!
    Yes, we NEED to born of the Holy Spirit or one day the devil will kick us out of the presence of God. Also because without the holy Spirit we are nothing and we can do anything.
    So the Holy Spirit is VERY IMPORTANT so we remaind in the presence of God everyday He Give us of life.

    I agree that we need to be born of the Holy Spirit in order to have God's spirit. The spirit that creates a new person which reflects Gods attitudes and His whole nature.The Holy Spirit It's the most precious thing that can satisfy the emptyness that we have in our heart, soul and spirit.Once God satisfies this emptyness with his presence we are complete human being ready to share with the people around us .

    We are all born with the nature of the first Adam, so in order for us to have communion with God we need to be born again and become just like Jesus. The Holy spirit is a necessity in our life, hence we must seek Him daily. Thank you

    those who are born of God will overcome the world and will have his character. but if you do not have Him then you are flesh and will end up falling, this is why its important to have the holy spirit.

    This really made me think of life like this,we are born in flesh and the flesh is sinful but our second birth wit the holy spirit helps us come away from those fleshly ways and makes us go to the ways of the spirit.The holy spirit is something so crucial to truly live.

    And when we have the Spirit of God in us, we are also blessed by sharing and giving of His Spirit to others and through His Spirit we can give life to those in darkness and in suffering. Without His Spirit, we only give empty words that will not touch one's heart.

    I agree with you that when you have the Holy Spirit you the spirit of guidance, you are obedient and you have life that means you have Jesus. but when you are in flesh just as Adam you are confused because you do not have guidance, you are rebellious

    Hello Mrs Esther,
    Reading this message shows that the importance of having the Holy Spirit within us if we don't have it then we become weak so its important that we continue to seek him to give us strength and guidance in all that we do. I believe that if we continue to remain in his presence and do his will then I know he will baptise us more and more with his Spirit.

    I like this post as it shows that we are constantly faced with two options, either to produce life- or just to be it. To be alive is something that we all who breath air have been granted, but to produce life means that you have to have the spirit that gives inside. This only comes to those that care more about the after life than the life we live here that is temporary. So either I choose to adopt the character of the long lasting Adam, or the temporary one.

    I like this verse very much because it shows the true difference between someone who hasn't got the Spirit of God, and someone who does.
    As I understood from the service when doing the bible study on this verse, we can only give what we have. And Jesus having the Holy Spirit gives His Spirit to us. But we don't want to be like the first Adam who was just living with no real life in him, otherwise we can't have an impact on others to change because there's something missing in us.

    The Holy Spirit Is Life itself without the Holy Spirit you wont receive the through happiness and joy that you desire especially in the world that we live in because every day we are surrounded with bad news and the only way those news won't affect you is when you have the Holy Spirit because the Holy Spirit makes you STRONG!

    Being born of the spirit is having God's DNA like you said Mrs Ester it is having the same nature of as our Lord Jesus Christ - our nature becomes spiritual and vivfying. For anyone who has not experienced this - you are missing out!
