The Power

"But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name..."John 1:12

Many people have sacrificed in order to have, but, only those who sacrifice to have the Holy Spirit received power to become Children of God. What's better: receive power to have or be filled to be of God?

    there is nothing on this earth that is better then to receive the Holy Spirit and to have the right to be a child of God. oh, Holy Spirit come upon me and fill me that i too be Your child.

    that is so true having GOD spirit we become God's children, and i know that God is going to give the Holy Spirit for those who sacrifice for Him.

    we need to sacrifice to get God's attention and one's we have Gods attention we can have a direct connection to be filled with the Holy Spirit and to be children of God.

    I definetly want the power to be of God to be filled with the Holy Spirit to me there nothing in this world more important than having an encounter with God

    Surely to be filled with God's Spirit and to become His child. Any earthly conquest will be limited to a length of time: a new car will not be new in 3 years time, etc, and we cannot take any earthly possessions when we die. But becoming a child of God will lead us to eternity in His presence. Nothing can be compared to such value.

    To be filled by God is definitely the better option. I am very happy to say that my life is a testimony of God's Spirit inside of me. I really didn't know where I was going until I received Him and I was too empty to describe.
    But now that I have Him I have continuous joy, and it does not compare at all to having just ordinary 'power'.

    what is the use to conker the whole world but not having the spirit of God and honestly speaking even if you do conker everything but they won't last for long and that is why we have to seek what will last for ever.

    For me it is definitely better to be filled with the Holy Spirit because when you have God you have everything. In Matthew it says “Seek first the Kingdom of God and everything else will be added to you". Therefore, for me having the Spirit of God is definitely more important and I would definitely trade everything else to have it. It is a win win situation. What is the point of having the whole world (perishable things) yet you lose or do not have your salvation. It doesn’t make sense.

    When we have the holly spirit we become God's children, there is another passage in the bible that says "if we do not have the holly spirit we don't belong to God".

    I agree many times I have sacrificed to have, but this time I am sacrificing to be filled with the Holy Spirit so that I can be of God... To be is more important than to be and even the sacrifice has to be more. Thank you
