"For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death." Romans 8:2As we surrender our lives to the Son of God and we receive His Spirit, His Divine law automatically comes true for us. His Divine return is the Spirit of Life and the power to be called Child of God, setting us free from eternal death.

How powerful. The spirit of God has set us free from eternal death and has come for us to rejoice in His return.

ReplyDeleteI have been reading the old testament and i was realizing how greatful we are that Jesus Christ came on earth as before there was so much rules and relgulations and laws I thank God that He came down ... For the Law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free
Very strong Mrs Ester. Without His Spirit, we don't belong to Him. And if we don't belong to Him, we do not have the rights that He left for use and also the autority. Without Him, we live according to the worlds law and the worlds limitations such as death. When we become His child, after recieving Him inside, He sets us free from this worlds law. As we have life after recieving the Spirit of Life.

This for me just highlights the importance of having The Holy Spirit as without Him we will truly be overcome by death, but it is only by his infinite grace that we receive life. For me this fight has been a long struggle but the value of the reward outshines all the struggles and trials and tribulations that I am going through now. I cannot wait for the day not only to be able to be free from the hold of death but to be an individual with purpose and to spend the rest of my days in His presence.

the spirit of life is what is really going make us who we are, not for what we do. the spirit will guide us to the right direction and foot-prints not making it as a laughing -matter...because this wil also quide us to become a child of God, i say this because it truely shows that we are sperating ourselves from the world and the holiness. the way im going to apply this into muy life is by WALKING IN HOLINESS...this is by walking in the same way as jesus walked and being able to worship one God only. separation will be in this because it will so me the true meaning of Become a CHILD OF GOD- LIVING IN THE WORLD OF GOD IN HOLINESS AND SALVATION WITH THE LAWS

ReplyDeletei understood that even with the Holy sin will constantly be around us, but the magnificent thing that the Holy Spirit does is FREE us, He helps and guides us to resist the temptation to do it, but it is simply the OBEDIENCE of that person as to whether they fall into sin or not. What God placed into my heart was that we only have life and life more abundantly once we've had our own personal encounter with God.

ReplyDeleteThis is very true, once we give our lives to the Lord Jesus He gives us joy, happiness and above all He sets us free from all the oppression that the devil may try and bring to us and that he made us have when our life's where still in his hands.
It's only thanks to God that I have been given a fresh start and a brand new character that God himself moulds.He has so much patients and gave me encouragement during times of trouble,I really don't know where I would be with out him,because he has brought me happiness and blessings.No matter what comes in my path the strength of God keeps me strong.Also as a sacrifice Jesus bled and died for me so thats the reason for why I sacrifice my all to him because without him I AM TRULEY NOTHING.
ReplyDeleteThis verse is so simple but yet so powerful, I understood from it that once the Holy Spirit lives in us He automatically diverts our ways leading us to do wrong, to His ways that lead us to righteousness. It’s so powerful to have someone we don’t know and can’t see deep clean our lives and even change our character. The Lord is truly good!

This is a powerful word. Imagine, isn't wonderful; the Spirit of God is life in which it frees us from "the law of sin". How amazing is that, How much power the Spirit of God has. Thank you for this powerful word, it has really made me think and meditate. :)
