Obedience is one of the conditions to receive
the Holy Spirit. The rebellious, despite having the faith to achieve material
blessings, are left out.
Ananias and Sapphira didn’t receive the Spirit
of God because they were in between devotion to God and money.
Many have sought the Seal of God but not wholeheartedly.
Before I used to have a very bad view on the word obedience as I thought that I didn't need to listen to no one and that I already knew everything I should know. but when I came to God I learnt that in order for me to be closer to God and for me to receive his spirit I need to submit which means i needed to obey everything his words say and that proved to me that I didn't know anything at all

Obedience is the key, when we disobey Gods voice and his commandments then we won't recieve the Holy spirit. I saw changes spiritually when I decided to do his will and obey.

There is no way that a person can expect God to pour out His wonderful presence upon them without obeying Him in everything we do. A person will not come to you and give you a nice gift if you ignore them and constantly do your own thing, same as the Holy spirit will not give His Spirit to those who does the same to Him. It just would'nt make sense, so we need to see and search within ourselves to see who we truely obey.

ReplyDeleteobedience is what God requires from us so that we may be HIs witness and to be obedient many times is hard but if you do so the reward is even greater.
ReplyDeleteObedience is the Key to everything. God demands His children to heed His voice meaning obey His commands and directions many not only do not receive the Holy Spirit but also suffer throughout their entire life because they refused to obey to the voice of God.

This is an very important point as to why people do not receive the Holy Spirit! Obedience is in included in their sacrifice to God. They most probably do everything right, but when God says do something, they do the opposite and then wonder why they have not received the Holy Spirit, the answer may or may not be in front of them, but what is the main reason for them not receiving the Holy Spirit. Until they learnt to obey God, they will remain without the Spirit of God.

ReplyDeleteIf we can't obey then we don't have the Holy Spirit because then that is pride.
Obedience is a hard thing because it means we go against our flesh, which is why its a requirement to recieve the Holy Spirit because He goes against our flesh.
ReplyDeleteObedience before the eyes of God is so important .it makes d difference between servant and servant. Disobedience is one of the ways that can really tear up our relatiinship with Go because its like another way if saying i dont trust in you God, or i think my way is better than yours.... Its so vital to keep an obedient spirit witin us
