Why anointing?

The purpose of Divine anointing is to proclaim salvation to the lost, heal the brokenhearted, set the captives free and give freedom to those in chains.
As we can see, the anointing of the Holy Spirit has nothing to do with the realization of personal dreams. BUT RATHER THE DREAMS OF GOD!

“The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me, because the LORD has anointed Me to preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound…" Isaiah 61.1

  1. I was actually meditating on a passage that directly relates to this message;

    It was in 1john and He also spike about the anointing that we receive is true and is not a lie, if we really belueve in it It will teach us all things and also draw us closer to God! This was just a summary of the passage but it was deep because the anointing is from the Holy Spirit, if we trust in Him, He will teach us to overcome and our trust in Him takes us closer together!

  3. This is very true when people are seeking for the Holy Spirit many seek for there own personal desires but it's not for our own desires but for the 'Dreams of God'.

  4. The anointing of the Holy Spirit has nothing to do with the realization of personal dreams indeed as this enables the will of God to be done in our lives.

  5. Our focus should always be set on pleasing and living according to the directions given by the Holy Spirit.
    We are saved to save others, not to just hold onto what we have and be selfish. Yes before anything else we must maintain our own salvation, but there are thousands in the world that need to be saved too.
