He who has the Holy Spirit is not threatened by difficulties and challenges because he knows (he doesn't feel) he can take it by faith in Him who strengthens him.

When my 'faith; was just an emotion, I would always want to 'feel' good after talking to God.
ReplyDeleteWhen this did not happen I would feel weak and unanswered. Consequently, when a problem would come I did not have strength to face it.
When I stopped wanting to 'feel' good, or strong, I began seeking the Holy Spirit and His power. I would no longer seek to 'feel' something.
This was when I was truly empowered by God to overcome in my life!
Most people tend to live faith by emotion and when hardships come, they are to weak to even face it because they don't truly use faith. This is my favorite verse in the bible because it reminds me that the Holy Spirit gives you strength to overcome anything that happens in life.
ReplyDeleteIf it was owing to human strength there would be no chance but the Holy Spirit grants the victory for those who bear his nature.AMEN.
ReplyDeleteJust like what the person above me wrote, if it was down to human strength then there would be no chance. I'm sure this is why God gave us His Holy Spirit, because when it comes to the difficult times its ONLY His Strength that makes us able to do anything.

ReplyDeleteTo be honest when Challenges come a head of me it's only because I know I have God with me. Which helps me to over come because He never gives us something that we can no handle.
ReplyDeleteMany times we get into the mentality that we need to ‘feel’ in order for us do or in order for us to receive! But ‘feeling’ is simply another emotion that we don’t always experience! This is where faith is able to be manifested! When we don’t feel we still act, why? Because we have the faith that we can receive. I remember when I was going through a situation and I decided to seek God, I was literally crying to Him, when I had finished seeking I felt exactly the same, but deep inside I had the assurance that God had heeded my prayer, I may not have felt anything but I ‘took it’ by faith and believed that He had changed the situation! And the consequences were great!
ReplyDeleteWhen People have the holy spirit they dont by emotion any more because they know that god is with them and the challenges they go through is not hard because god is guiding them.
ReplyDeletebefore when i was in the world i was strongerly driven by emotion everything i did was base on my emotion i always wanted to feel in order for me to be happy and that also followed me through the whole time i was attending the church i always wanted to feel and see in order for me to believe using my faith was out of question. but little by little i came to learn that emotion is not but just a feeling for the moment and that faith is hope and believing even when you can not see but just by you believing that you are delivered and that you can also accomplishe anything you set your mind into that when i realise that through Christ Jesus I CAN DO ALL THINGS
