The astuteness of the deceiver makes him
successful because of the antichrist spirit that dwells in him. The only way to
identify and protect one’s faith from him is to be filled with the Spirit of
God. Only the Holy Spirit can guide us to all truth and protect us from the wiles
of the deceiver. God’s Seal is not an Christian option but a necessity to
maintain one’s salvation.
Therefore, dear reader, take care not to get yourself
involved with the disciples of the antichrist and thus put your soul at risk.

ReplyDeleteI remember when I didn't have the Holy Spirit I was gullible to anything and I believe in everything anyone would tell me, even if it felt wrong due to the word of that person I would convince myself that it was right. But after the baptism of the Holy Spirit I know whether someone is fake or sincere, which helps me a lot in my life.

Its interesting, there has been many times when I hear something and though in that moment I don't quite understand why it doesn't sit well with me, later on the Holy Spirit reveals why, He reveals what is wrong, letting me know why I can't take what's been said. Without the Holy Spirit we are truly deceived because without Him we have no wisdom.

I really agree, at times we start to involve ourselves with the wrong people and it just reminded me light and dark can not mix.

ReplyDeleteGod has really spoken to me today regarding this. We were watching the second part of the film, 'Left Behind' in a book of Revelation study and chapter 6:2 shows clearly that the Antichrist will deceive many. Some were deceived in the bible study as they thought that the one sat on the white horse was Jesus Himself, but it was really the Antichrist. Today I also realised that I need to cut off from those who will contaminate my faith, whether they appear to be Christian or not. At the end of the day, we have to protect our own Salvation as no one else will protect it for us. We can only achieve this through His guidance and His strength as its so easy to be deceived.
