"Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abides forever." Psalm 125.1Trust is a permanent state of faith. Being like Mount Zion means remaining unshakable under any circumstance. Even if all the Earth trembles and the other mountains shake, Mount Zion remains calm and peaceful because it is the Throne of the Almighty.
Who and what can possibly hold back or shake up those who are the Temple of the Holy Spirit.
That is true Mrs ESTER,our faith must be unshakable through thick and thin .It must be pure faith without any emotions .

Mrs Ester, I couldnt agree with you more. Those who trust in the Lord will always remain firm and stick to what they believe. Even if a certain situation arises and it seems impossible for their dream to come true....they remain and are not shaken because they have put their trust in God so by doing that they know that God is in control.When we make the decision to put our trust in God, this is one of the best things we can do because obviously whatever God gives us will be the best and even if we go through a difficult period its usually for us to learn and make us stronger. when we have the Spirit of God nothing shakes us or puts fear in our hearts.
ReplyDeleteThis reminds me of when people go through problems. Those who do not have the Holy Spirit are not like Mount Zion; they break under the pressure. But those who are of God remain peaceful, and even deal with their situations with no panic at all.
ReplyDeleteThere is no problem or situation bigger than mount zion. If my faith is like mount zion nothing that i go through will destroy me. My faith in the Lord will be my reason to rise above other mountains. no hill will ever shake a mountain.
ReplyDeleteWhen you really trust in God no matter what happens around you, the problems that arise you will not allow them to shake you. When you really trust in God you believe that though right now things are going wrong but it will not remain that way because you know who God is.

People may fall around you, give up the faith even test you but one cannot give up. At times we hear things that are disturbing but one has to rebuke and say get behind me satan and take up the full Armour of God to shield his/her salvation. We should have a steadfast spirit that is unshaken and stand firm in the Lord.

ReplyDeleteThank you for this post, I learn a lot from your blog posts. It is important to put your trust in God not in men. I have seen many people who were my friends and some who I admired and aspired to be like them leaving the presence of God. Imagine if I had put my trust in them I would have left the presence of God myself. I really love the fact that God compares those who put their trust to a mountain, because a mountain remains against all odds, it remains unshakable or moved. This is how I want to be unshakable or not moved by problems, emotions and anything that can make me to be far from God.

ReplyDeleteWow..Amen..this just made my day. Reminds me of a song I know: "I will not be moved and I'll say of the Lord; 'You are my shield........'". Only when you trust in God is when you will not be moved by anything. You will have that supernatural joy and peace that is not determined by circumstances. Only faith in God can do that. I pray that one day this will be the case for me.

Mrs Ester, Thank you this is so true the devil has just tried to annoy me where I would have shouted and got very upset before and moaned and nagged all day, but I am sitting here lol at him because I am God's first born and no matter how many times he tries to shake my tree it is not falling down at his feet. The great thing about having the Holy Spirit is that He comforts you and gives you strenght to face challenges and helps you to overcome problems you might be facing, He is always there right by your side.
This is true..Even if the situation on the outside may be one to rock your emotional state.. the Holy spirit is there to help you be firm and still, it comforts you and strengthens you so that you may remain calm and peaceful. What a Greatness..
