"The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly." John 10.10Followers of the Lord Jesus chose to follow Him. This means that they will no longer be subject to the kingdom of darkness. Though they have trials and battles, they keep their faith because they are guaranteed to have their life restored with inner peace and joy, and the salvation of their soul.
On the other hand, those who reject their salvation have nothing left but theft, death and destruction.
Thank you Mrs Esther that is true. and those who do not have God see small things as destructions. when you have God and you loose something it is not theft, it is a chance to get something better....
ReplyDeleteEven though at times it may seem hard to be a Christian because we go through trials, times where are faith are really put the test and we really feel worn out but the good thing is that when we past these test God builds us up inside and the end the end of it will be a reward for those who endure till the end.
ReplyDeleteit is important for us as followers of Christ to seek to be faithful to God though times are hard .He is faithful and always rewards us with inner peace. If we please the devil he steals our peace,kill our faith and destroys our lives.therefore if we endure and perserve in the Lord JESUS HE WILL REWARD US WITH AN ABUNDANT LIFE

Very true Mrs Esther, no matter how much challenges we can face, the devil cannot take away our peace (if we please God), but if we please him then we are opening a gap for him to steal our peace and destroy us.

When one is with God they are in the cycle of blessings, all is kept safe (protected). If a person makes a mistake of turning away from the cycle of blessings then the devil will use the opportunity to steal, kill and destroy. Yes even with God there will be problems but He will give you strength to overcome them. Darkness and light cannot mix, either one is available and the other gone.The same with us, we cannot serve two masters, one has to choose. **I believe most of us remember the study about Luke warm people, and God said He will spit them out because they do not know where they belong.**

ReplyDeleteThis is exactly something I was thinking today about how the devil just comes with an aim to steal, kill and destroy! He knows that those who belong to God are righteous before him but they never bow down to the problems that the devil brings because they are always fighting the devil!

This is very true Mrs Ester - those who know God and serve Him have no fear of satan or his mission here on earth. They have faith and boldness to conquer in life because they are assured of the promises of God to those who follow Him, "I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly." Faith leaves no space for doubt or fears. Where faith is high, doubts are low. My daily aim is to have a strong/high faith so that satan may not attack and enslave me in doubts/fears.

Juliet that is exacly how I feel God has been doing to me building me up stronger everytime he is pleased with me. I didn't think it was hard to be a christian because I had started to make the changes that I needed to in my life, but this was something that I learned that everyday is a spiritual battle having a desire to change is just the tip of the iceberg we have to fight to keep that change because everyday the devil does not give up and if we slip our salvation is gone we have to keep our mind constantly on God and what pleases him or we will not survive in this world.
