"And you shall be holy to Me, for I the Lord am holy, and have separated you from the peoples, that you should be Mine." Leviticus 20.26In order for us to see the Lord we must be holy.
Holy means separated from unrighteousness and separated from sin.
How could the Holy of holies allow sin into His presence? Can Light and darkness be combined? How about Good and evil?
Those who want to see the Lord God must sacrifice their sins in order to come clean before His presence.
I think as well as entering God's presence to remain there we have to stay pure and holy. If not then we wont be able to remain with Him. So I must keep pure no matter what happens.

ReplyDeleteThis is so true because I when I first arrived in God presence I didn't want to give up sin but I understood for me to see God presence in my life I had to let go of sin to be honest is was not easy also it does not finished there is a daily sacrifice.

ReplyDeleteGood and evil do not mix there for the word HOLY is such a word to be emphasised. This is food for thought. I do not live in sin anymore but it was my character that needed to be moulded by God and much more myself. but it is the little things that I did not notice and am still finding out about myself that God is showing me that i need to change, and to be separated from it.

As the Bible said we have to be holy, before we come in to the presence of God we are dirty and in order for us to see His will in our life we must be totally cleansed so to enable this to happen we need to open ourselves to God and remove everything that was impeding us from having a true encounter with Him, it's only in this way that we can see His presence and will in our lives.
ReplyDeleteWhat I am thinking of is the meaning of sin and how deep this word goes. When we talk about sin the majority of the time the first thing we think about is fornication, lies, lust etc... But we forget grudges and other things like simply not obeying the Word itself... Very thought provoking, your posts are so short but they are very meaningful and helpful!

ReplyDeleteIts true in order for us to shine our light to others is when we as children of God live a holy life, and when we live a holy live not only do we please our Heavenly Father but our light will also shine to others through our character.
This is an important verse that we must remember. We havbe to make sure that our actions and thoughts are that of God. We must ask God reveal to us what is not pleasing tohim so that we can change and be in his presence. We must deny ourselves delay to be in the kingdom of God.

And the only way to fight is to be born of God to receive the holy spirit because with out it life in this world is impossible but with God everything is possible. We can not serve two masters its one or the other.

There's no way for the righteous person to live an unclean life and when we stay away from sin, we automatically come closer to righteousness. Darkness and Light are immiscible.

for us to see God face to face one day we have to obey His words. To be holy it requires obedience to God. If we will not be holy before Him, we have no place for us to see Him because our Father is holy and He only allow to His kingdom are those who lived in holiness.
