"Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven." Matthew 7.21You must be a servant in order to do the will of the Lord.
What good will it do to serve Him halfheartedly?
What good will it do to try to please Him by being half a servant?
Imagine what would happen in a marriage if a husband only gave half of himself to his wife and a wife only gave half of herself to her husband?
Who would accept to live in this situation?
Jesus is only the Lord of those who submit their live's entirely to Him.
good day mrs ester!it is true only who do GOd wish can tell that is servant worths leting our wish to do God wish.worths pay it price in faith.
ReplyDeletethank you Mrs ester for this post..a true servant forgets his own will and only does the will of God..whether tough or difficult when we love our master sincerely we should be able to sacrifice this for him, that's the least we can do...and with all this there comes endless blessings !!wow!
ReplyDeleteDear MRS ESTER,true that being a servant means complete submission with humbleness .A servant doesn't do his will only the Master's will.THANK YOU
ReplyDeleteThere's absolutely no point in trying to serve God half-heartedly. God is not stupid, He searches our hearts and He knows us even more than we know ourselves. Its all or nothing, if we are gonna be luke-warm, we might as well go all out into the world and do all sorts of worldly things than have one leg on the things of God and one in the world. Complete surrender is what is required, denying yourself and living your life for God.
ReplyDeleteDear Mrs Esther,
ReplyDeleteI was just talking to my Mum about this subject few minites ago! That whatever we do for our Lord ( and I really mean it) it has to be 100%. I'm still learning, but I want to serve Him better; I want to be good for Him and only for Him so I would be able to serve Him with all tht I am. This is my heart desire! Because
at the end of my days or when He comes back I will like Him to recognise me as His. :-)
Dear Mrs Esther i agree, if we want to have salvation we have to surrender our lives hundred percent .God is not looking for 60% or 99% no matter your situation you just have to do his will and he will grant you with salvation.
ReplyDeleteIt is true in order to receive salvation we must surrender 100%. Our heart must not be occupied with other before God. We really must put him first, seek him daily and deny ourselves.Once we truly oput God first, he will dwell in us.
ReplyDeleteThank you for this message Mrs ester.
Thank you Ms Esther for this. we must be servants in order to do the will of God , as servants have a humble heart, they obey their master regardless of how they feel...there a servant!. We have to be the same, we have to serve Him as a servant and not halfheartedly as if we dont, we just become like those of the world who dont want to surrender 100%, then we wont be servants!.
ReplyDeleteThat is very true Mrs.Ester;just like a servant takes orders from his master, this is not contrary to us because when we do the will of God; Jesus becomes our Lord.
ReplyDeleteI agree in this, for our God, its either all or nothing, there is nothing like half-obedience, half-submission, half-salvation, by not giving your 100%, you have already despised the will of God. Let us give our ALL as Jesus also did not give His half blood but His All
ReplyDeleteHi Ms Ester,
ReplyDeleteThis is similar to another post of yours that I read. To be honest I dont even believe there is such a thing as being half a servant because if we think of a human master and servant, the servant is required to do what the master asks and what will fulfil their needs and of they don't they will be fired. The master does not actually need the servant who is not doing things properly because they have the money to just get another one. The same applies to being a servant of God, If we dnt want to be used by Him somebody else does.
Thanks for the post
Mrs Esther this is true, most of the people we think that serving God is having a position in the church or doing some material things for God but no,thats not all we also serve God when we submit to his will.Mrs Esther i belive to those who submit to his will he will honor not those who call him Lord,Lord and not do his will.
ReplyDeleteTotal commitment and devotion as well as submission- for me is like investing -when you invest you give all you have including the last drip of your sweat and i think with God is the same thing-Thank you for a topic which makes us think and reintrospect our lives and faith.
ReplyDeleteMrs Ester,
ReplyDeleteThank you for this post. The only way to know what the will of the father is when we know Him- to know what He likes and what He hates. Only then will we please Him.
I thank you very much.
Tanks Ester, everyone has master to serve, who you choose to obey is you master. If you choose tho obey the world then the Father does not know you because your master is world. Fear of the unknown has left a lot of confusion in the lives of many,it led them into giving half of their live to Jesus because the are afraid and all they think is what will happen if a leave the world behind them but only those who have courage make it in the Kingdom of God.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree.. With God its either all or nothing! you cant be half in hell, & half in heaven.. Its either you are in heaven, or you are in hell.. & to be in heaven, you have to be a true servant of God!
ReplyDeleteThanks Mrs Ester for this message. Sometimes i just wonder, how can someone say he or she believe in God while she is not doing the will of God.Like the bible is saying not everyone who says Lord, Lord will enter the kingdom of heaven.Only those who do His will will inherit His kingdom.People are being deceived by what they hear from false prophets, but the truth is that if you are a true servant of God, your fruits will reveal that.
ReplyDeleteThank you Mrs Ester for the massage it is very strong.
ReplyDeleteOne of the things that defines a true man of God or a true woman of God is them doing the will of God. That means to trust in God 100%, giving ALL of themselves to to Him, and believing that God's plan, will etc is the best...even though sometimes it may be the hardest and a bit longer but it is definately the right way.
ReplyDeleteTahnyou very mush this relly is a strong message and even tough we hear this all the time God speaks ever time difffrently ... Gracias
ReplyDeleteso simple but so very true, that is why Jesus told us that in order to inherit enternal life we need to love Him with all our heart, all our soul, all our strength and all our mind. (Luke10:27)Its ALL that He requires from us but God is wonderful that even with this we receive as we give.
ReplyDeleteTo be honest something I really forgot that God is the only one that should be in my life, but I realise when I don't something Bad always happen to me and it give me a wake up call That's why from noe in everything that I do must be base on Him.
ReplyDelete'Jesus is only the Lord of those who submit their live's entirely to Him.' Something that many forget! May God really teach me daily to be a true servant!
ReplyDeleteServing Gog halfheartdly will not work because you either give Him all you heart of he will not accept any. Serve Him with everything you are and everything you have.
ReplyDeleteThank Mrs. Ester, We have surrender all to Him and allow the Holy Spirit to mould us into God likeness.
ReplyDeleteBefore I don't understand how to serve God. I used to think that maybe I can serve God and serve my own material dreams. But I came to the point that I realize those dreams are making me go nowhere. And so I started to search the deeper meaning of it and asked God to teach me how to serve Him. And one of the most important lesson I've learned was that, I cannot serve Him with the dreams I have that have nothing to do about Him, that is serving Him half-heartedly; because to serve Him should be done with complete submission and total surrender of my life to the His hands.
ReplyDeleteThanks Dona! It helped me a lot. :)
P.S.
I am still learning the process of the "TOTAL SURRENDER" to God.

Dear Mrs Ester
ReplyDeleteWe must be the servants of God not our own masters in order for us to call ourselves true and faithful servants of our living God by surrenderinng our lives to HIM completely through submission and humbleness knowing that he is the only father, there is no other God expect him but its not just by words for us to say we are his servants.Thank you Mrs Ester very powerful message

Dear Mrs Ester,
ReplyDeleteNo one get's to the father but through the son, and no one comes through to the son unless they humble themselves and turn their back on the world, complete surrender. We dont accept God to answer some of our prayers so its not acceptable for us to give some of ourselves to God. When people look at it as if they have to give up their life they are lost, God wants us to have everything and more we can have dreams and a better life we just have to do it Gods way and in his time he knows our hearts and our desires. Our way is just delaying the things God planned for us we have to OBEY him because what he has for us is more greater than dreams. Matthew 6:33
God bless you

I like the example you've used here Mrs Ester because it puts everything in context. In the same way that a wife wouldn't put up with being in a marriage where the husband only commits half of himself to her, God too won't accept such a child in His kingdom. To have salvation it's all or nothing. Thank you for the message.
ReplyDeleteDear Mrs. Ester
ReplyDeleteOnly those who born of God are able to worship him in spirit and in truth and submit to the will of our Father in heaven.
Thank you Mrs. Ester
ReplyDeleteJesus hates someone who gives half of what he/she has. He himself gave His all on the cross, so its important that we as His servants do likewise. Its either I serve wholeheartedly or not serve at all.
Goodevening Mrs Ester, this is the eye opening message. Our life has to be 100% in the hands of God.He knows our hearts.
ReplyDeleteThanks,Mrs Ester.

ReplyDeleteTo be a true servant requires daily sacrifice from our side, we need to deny our own will for His will. It’s not easy at times but it’s worth it.
ReplyDeleteThank you Mrs Ester,
Kind regards,

Dear Mrs Ester!
ReplyDeleteTo do the Father's will is necessary to surrender completely, and the true servant knows that his Lord is worthy of a complete surrender.
This reminds me of the difference between being and doing. If we are concerned only about what we do then we will forget about the importance of who we are before God. We need to be true servants and a true servant does God's will.
