The Voice of God is the voice of rational faith. This kind of faith comes from the obedience and practice of His Word.
This is the requirement for the fulfillment of His promises.

ReplyDeleteThank you for this message it is true that understanding the plan of God can only be achieve from listen to His voice or Word. I have noticed this that when I do not read the bible there is no way that I can understand the mind of God. Evrything that is in the bible is the thoughts and plans of God by reading it, obeying it and applying what is written in itthen I cann understand the plan of God.
Mrs Ester, it is true, the promises of God we will only get when we listen and understand His words, without obedience and practicing the words of God, we will be just be filled with information and no fulfilment of His promises in our lives.

ReplyDeletethank you for this message of faith, because lately the subject has been heart vs mind (EMOTIONS VS FAITH), and I recognise this is a matter I need to deal within me, If we disobey the word of God, automatically we are using emotions, and this goes entirely against the Work of God though we may not recognise this sooner.
Those who follow God no matter what the circumstances they uses their pure raw faith, because they believe that their faith enables them.

God's voice is sometimes heard, other times it's ignored. As people who believe in God we always want to see his promises being fulfilled in our lives and when we don't see them we begin to question the existence of God, when really we should be questioning ourselves and whether we have followed God's commandments and directions from the Bible. When we are right before God and do as he says we have the right to demand for the promises if we don't see then being fulfilled.

its true that we do not obey the word of God we cannot accomplish his promises but with obedience there comes massive blessings.
Sometimes when i read passages from the bible i really think to myself why cant i just do this and there will assuredly be results but its really not as easy but i would say once you make a decision to serve God it wont be as hard, there will be hard days when your flesh will try to fight but we must seek God and obbey Him and he will strengthen us to continue following Him
ReplyDeleteReading this make me realise how difficult we make things for ourselves, this is true and simple. If we do what God says, there is nothing that He cant do. By listening and believeing in the Word of God, it shows how much we actually believe in Him.

ReplyDeleteTo be honest I've read this passage in the bible quit a lot of times but I never truly understood it until now. I always thought that some how praying and fasting could in a way get you the promises of God and that exactly what I have been doing these past day, not quit listening to the voice of God which is so simple but trying to do things my way. But this passage just reminded me that there's only way with God and that is obedience.

So we must stop complicating our lives finding lots of ways to be blessed as theres only one way listening to God's voice and doing His will that will lead you to salvation and success.

ReplyDeleteThe plans of God for our lives are blessings, and if we do not understand that He is willing to give to those who are obedient then we are blind. At times you hear people say- why did God do such a bad thing to me?But then if they think about it they will end up with this question in their mind.How can God do bad in a person's life? And then they will get to know that God never fails but as He has promised indeed He will fulfill.
