WHO IS WHO

"Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God."        James 4.4
This verse clearly defines who is who. The friends of God are enemies of the world and the friends of the world are enemies of God.
The enemies of God automatically become friends of the devil. The friends of God automatically become enemies of the devil.

  1. Thank you Mrs Ester for ths powerful message and it is true that those who are of God are enemies of this world or the devil. it is important to be true to ourselve and realy look at our actions if we are God's friend or His enemy. One has to know himself/herself, this is what came into my mid when I read this message.

  2. Thank you Mrs Esther for this message. It is very important that we check ourselves daily so that we are walking in Gods light. Reading the bible daily allows us to follow Gods way. If we don't follow his way then we are his enemy.

  4. Mrs Ester, the message is vey motivating: as children of God we become the enemies of the devil because we practice what he hates on the other hand the children of the devil become the enemies of God because they do what God hates. As such as children of God we have to be determined everyday to do the will of God.

    Thank u Mrs.Ester

  6. Very strong message, and for those who are born of God they really understand the meaning of "hating" the things of this world. God bless you.

  7. I love this verse; it was even reinforced in my VYG meeting yesterday. If we embrace the things of this world, there is no way that we can be friends with God. He cannot accept evil and the world is full of it.

  8. Yes that is true. and we would not want to be the enemy of God. Id rather loose all relations to the world and keep my relation with God. Because when i loose relation with God i loose myself. Thank you.

  9. Indeed one can serve only one master, God is not our enemy but when we decide to choose the devil over Him then we become God's enemies, and if this happens we are not going to have a good life. God gives the best and we choose to be with Him not only with words but our daily life must be pleasing to Him.

when already reading this verse it gives the pleasantness and the knowledge of how much God hates the world.if we ought to be close to God,building a truthful freindship with him will aquire us to be enermies with this world,we must be able to be one with God.

  12. I think this message is very straight forward and simple... You know who you are depending on who you are friends with. Doing the things of God pleases him so that would make you his friend and the same goes for the devil. There's that Saying, "show me who your friends are and I'll show you who you are". We must look at our actions and see who we are pleasing.

  13. Dear Mrs Ester
Powerful message Mrs Ester surely we cannot save two masters, its either we please one and displease the other. It is important that we examine our self thoroughly in order to determine whether we are pleasing God or the world. It is better to lose friends of the world and remain friends with God which will last forever if taken care of properly.

  15. Thank you for the message. each day of our lives we choose who we serve; God or the devil. this is our daily challenge and God has given us the will to choose our destiny. He's not like the devil He is gentle and never force us to decide on anything. at the end of the channel we alone have to choose whats good for us.

  16. Dear Mrs Ester
It is so true, if we want to be Gods friend we should not conform to the pattern of this world, Those who are Gods friends have nothing in common with the world or its ways.

  17. Thank you Mrs. Ester for the message. This is traight and unquestionable that if I befriend with the world or anything in it, means that I enermise with God and vice versa.

  18. Dear Mrs Ester,
Thank you for this message. This message is strainght to the point and the bible makes it clear who is who. A friend of God is the enemy of the world and vice versa. It is important to look deeply in our hearts and search who do we have in our heart is God or the devil. I was once deceived by religious practices and I thought I was a child of God this changed when I met God He showed me that being religious is a thing of this world and that I need to have an encounter with Him in order for me to belong to Him. really this message requires one to really think and examine herself.

  19. A person cannot serve two masters at the same time. its either you are the servant of God or the servant of satan and if you chose to be God's servant then you automatically become satan's enemy for he does not like what you are doing.

  20. There is no justification for what's not acceptable to God. There is no such thing as 1 leg in the world and another with God. If you are lukewarm you are as godd as someone who is in the world and you might as well go all out and do the things of the world. There is also no justification for being yoked with people who are worldly...some say ' I want to be around them so I can bring them to God'...but I know that this is unrealistic. Ourl flesh is so weak, before we know it...their ways are eventually going to rub off on us. Only Godly friends and reading the word and attending church will draw us closer to God and will help us to crucify our flesh. Our flesh is so weak, lets not allow ourselves to be tempted. Friendship with the world is enmity with God, and there is no such thing as lukewarm where God is concerned. You are either in or out, never on the fence!

  21. We know who we are by looking at our actions. If we do what is of God we will be of God but if we do what is of the devil we will definitely be of the devil.

i agree Mrs Ester. One can't claim to be of God and still love the rubbish that the world has to offer! Its either you belong to God and rid yourself of the worldly desires to follow God and become His friend, or continue doing the things of the world and remain an enemy to God!

  23. This is very strong. I have learnt form this passage that I cannot say that I am of God but do things of the world. No one says sacrificing the world be easy but I am learning and fighting everyday to overcome the pleasures of this deceitful world.
    thanks for this message Mrs.Ester

  24. Hi Mrs Ester!
Its true when we choose God we face persecutions, yes it's not easy but we have to remember that Jesus went through death for us. The persecutions we go through are nothing compared to the pain he shared on the cross for us.Thank you for for this uplifting message.

I have recently lost 2 of my best friends, that I knew for MANY YRS.BUT everything changed over night! I was very SAD for me!But I finally thought this was a blessing and I asked for this from God. To take away temptation and enemies. I saw jealously in their eyes but ignored it before.God is great, he's my dad and he protects me.

  26. This is very clear...i have seen many left God just to gone back to the world...to be of God is not easy.
