"You ran well. Who hindered you from obeying the truth?" Galatians 5.7Christians in Galatia had been set free from the shackles of Jewish doctrines. They were doing well in the faith.
But because they listened to their "brethren", they became shackled again.
This is the biggest risk faced by those who are new in the faith.
Instead of continuing in the same faith that set them free, some Christians allow themselves to be influenced by the "brethren" whose lives are a complete failure.
It is important that we continue to seek Gods presence and obey his words. We must ask God for spiritual wisdom and stand strong in our journey.

This is true because when you start in faith you have no spiritaul disernment and think everyone who looks in faith,is in church thier lifes are blessed so you take thier advice jumping to conculusion thinking ok if they done this n they are where they are why not untill you relise and start using your own faith then you see the truth.

ReplyDeleteLike the 10 virgins, some five had the extra oil and five did not, this clearly shows that we will find among us those who are not recharging their battery of salvation and others do but one cannot just say i have recharged and i am full. We need the extra oil daily .If we see we are running short of it then we must seek.People also like to be around others who are not of the same faith and this is not good for a woman or man of God because you will contaminate yourself. Light and darkness cannot mix. Let us take care of our salvation and realize the truth of God. He leads then we follow.

ReplyDeleteThank you for this powerful message because i needed it. sometimes we allow those who are full of information to fill our minds with their failure not knowing that we put our selves indanger, for words are seeds. we really need to be carefull.
