Joy during times of trial seems contradictory. Doesn't it?
Tests of faith only happen in the lives of those who live by faith.
They live by faith because they are of God. This does not give them a reason to be improperly joyful, but to be filled with a great joy.
This is the joy of being a child of God.

We must remain strong in the trials that we face in our lives at all times.
God requires us the use our faith always to fight for any difficult situations we face in our lives. If we are real children of God then we have his spirit inside of us, this gives us strength to withstand anything that the devil tries to throw at us.
Because a person is filled with the Holy Spirit they have the presence of God within them, their character reflects God no matter what is happening in their lives.
They have absolute assurance that GOd is with them because they are with him.

ReplyDeletewhen we are born of God no matter what situation we are in we have to have faith, faith that God will strengthen us to get through which ever problem we are in, because those are the times when our faith is meant to shine through and slap Satan in face. The joy comes from within no matter what to stay focused on God, because we have an assurance that he is with us so why be sad the trial will only be for a little while because if we are with him he is for sure with us so what do we have to fear.

ReplyDeleteWhen ones faith is in God, nothing takes their joy for their joy is in the Lord. And in times of trials and tribulations that’s when you get to know where you stand because when all is well everybody is in ‘faith’.
