"...return to me, and I will return to you,” says the LORD Almighty. But you ask, ‘How are we to return?" Malachi 3.7In order to have the Lord return to you, you must return to Him. How do you return to Him?
Through prayer? Attending church services? Reading the Bible?
This can be compared to a relationship of two people who are dating.
A phone call, a date or an email is enough to satisfy either person in the relationship.
They have no serious commitment or obligation to one another.
Tithes and offerings are the beginning of a committed relationship with God because they represent fidelity and love.
Amen. Dona for us to return to Lord the first thing we must do is to be serious and comitted through tithes and offering because as we return this to the Lord for sure He will return to us as well.

ReplyDeleteWhen there is no strength in us that is when God will call us back to his presence, if we humble our selves his arms are open to receive us. If we love some one will always want to be around that person, if we say that we love God, we want to be at church, meditate on his word also respect and obey him.

its true because in a relationship you cant just decide to not speak to your partner for a day if u did for sure he wouldnt like it and the same is with God

role in our every day life not just in our finances but in every
area of our life because most of us give Tithes and offerings because of our finances but what about the other ares of our life. I know in the book of
Malachi Jesus promise to open the flood gates of heaven and pour out is blessing

ReplyDeleteWhen we really loves someone, we wanted to share that love with that person, we wanted to give to that person the best and we wanted to spend time with that person. In other words we sacrifice our time and effort for that person. So, it's the same one have to do with God, even more. Therefore I have to make sure I give my best to God, by reading the bible, prayring, offered my life to Him 100% daily. Seriouly committed to Him, it's my obligation as a servant of God.
