Matthew 16.26If you try to gain the world, your soul can only take delight in this until you are about 70, or maybe even 80, if you still have the strength. However, most of these years will be of tiresome work and grief, because everything passes quickly.
But what happens when your physical body dies?
What will happen to your soul?
The wise man does not invest his faith in a life with limits.
On the contrary, he gains by investing his wisdom, vision and faith into his eternal life.

We can conquer so much in this world, and solely be focused on our achievementss.
But whatever we conquer in this world we cannot take it when we die.
All that we have achieved and conquered must be left behind when we depart from this life.
We must fight to never lose our soul to the devil. He will put so many distractions in our ways and try to contaminate our mind all the time.
But we must always fight to rebuke what does not come from God.
We must invest heavily in our spiritual life, so that the devil cannot take possession of our soul.
By obeying the word of God and upholding his righteousness we will protect our soul from the wicked one.
Even though God has promised a life more abdunantly, we must never put our soul in jepodary to obtain the promise of God.

This is very strong Mrs Ester,this message reminds me of the Video we once watched in church last year about the unending burning fire in hell where people were repeatedly set on fire,it is very important to work hard on protecting our souls for when our bodies dies here in earth that's when life begins in heaven

ReplyDeleteThere is no pleasure of having everything in this world but having no Salvation.
The most important thing that money cant but is the security of our soul in the Lord Jesus.
Mrs Ester, the Word of God advises us to set our minds on things that are above, things that do not perish. Everything that my eyes see is only temporary but things that I cannot see are eternal. So, it really is not worth it because all my earthly conquests will remain here on earth. But my salvation... I take that with me after death.

This is very true Mrs Ester. Oneday everything in this world will pass away. The things of this world are meaningless. We have to be wise enough to understand that riches invested in this world will pass away, but only riches stored in Heaven will last forever. Praying for blessings is not wrong as we glorify our Father through them, but what is the point of gaining all of these and forget our salvation.

Storing up things of this world does not make sense because we can not take them where we are going, we must be wise to always build on our spiritual life so that the devil does not steal us away from our God, but if we are not wise he will find a way to corrupt us, so our sword must be stuck to our hand no matter what.
