The Temple of Solomon was reduced to ashes and, in its place, the temple of Muhammad was erected. So the prophecy to the people who had once been the glory of the Lord was fulfilled. Why?
Because of pride.
Pride is the reason why many people fall. Especially those who once belonged to God.

ReplyDeletepride is wicked, it is crafty and hides in the shadows of our soul, we have to search it out or it will trap us and bring us shame and make us rebellious and we may not recognise it unless we search it out all the time and repent when we find it, i myself, have to watch all the time, because i did not realize but it is so crafty and damaging, life threatening, that we have to hunt it down like our enemy! and keep short accounts with God, pray and repent fast!

Amen, pride destroys of soul,our relationship with God. That is why He also said in His word that we must be "Humble as a child". When a child has been reprimanded and punished they still tell mom or dad that they love them and that they are sorry. They did not hold a grudge.So therefore we have to watch we must not allow pride to take over.

ReplyDeletethis is a vey strong and powerful message for today, pride eats us up in side and makes us distant and far from God. Me I see being rebuke as a blessing because it helps me to grow and learn more to do the right thing we must never make pride shame us into hiding or away from those who care for us.
