“The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it?" Jeremiah 17.9
Even though it is known that the heart is wicked, misleading, corrupt and a faithful ally to the devil, still, its feelings, emotions, pleas and cries are heard and heeded.
Why?
Because those who have it like that are not yet born of the Holy Spirit.

Thank you for the powerful message.I agree with you that the heart is deceitful and misleading,it alaways wants something,the heart is never certiSfed but it is our duty to control it not to allow it to take over and control our lives,we suppose to learn and be strong inorder for us to to deny our heart disires but am sure everyone can agree that without the spirit of God working inside us it is not easy to conquire our heart disires.saying no to what our heart leads us is a biggest sacrifice.Thank you very much Mrs Ester your words are more like fuel inside me .am very grateful because when ever my heart kicks for something wrong I will remember these words . ReplyDeletethis is true, we have to fight because the devil will use all kinds of blackmail, emotional things, our desire even to move on, everything, but we have to stand with our shield and sword because if we don't listen to the Lord, who else will we listen to, because we have to listen to something, it's a horrible thought. the Heart tells us rubbish, the Lord shows us the way to be saved. It does not matter how stupid we look, even if we have to look like a tramp for the next few months longer and put up with all kinds of things, we are blessed when we suffer for our God so we should be happy, happy that God loves us and trusts us with His beautiful voice! I love Him Ester, I don't care if Its very , very hard, and it will be, I only care if I finish.

ReplyDeleteThank you very much for sharing this inspirational message, what I got from this message is that, those whom are not born of God, they will find it very hard to diffenciate whether it is God speaking to them or is it the devil.
Every time that we listen to our heart its many more steps the person is taking far away from God. until it comes to a point where the person only has their life in their own hands!
When things start to get tough that's when they stretch their hands out to give their life into God's hands! but it doesn't work that way.
