Small, but unshakable

"...For assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you." Matthew 17.20
God does not demand of us anything that we cannot do. Jesus teaches that the secret of faith is not in its size. For us to do great things, faith must be pure.

  1. Mrs Ester,

This is what we forget most of the time that faith is very important in the things we want to achieve.
the mustard seed is one of the smallest seed's there is, its not the size that really matters its if we believe and have faith in what ever we want, we can have which is also added by fasting and praying if we don't have faith we have already been defeated.

    Thank you Mrs Ester

  2. When we used our faith everything that are coming on our way we will overcome because the one that are with us is Jesus and Faith does not have limit, even though someone's faith is small he/she can still overcome.

  3. Faith is the only way we can show to God that we trust him. For us human beings is not easy to trust not even in ourselves. That is why from the moment we show to God that we trust him, he moves mountains.

  6. Hi Mrs Esther
Wow how true when we trust God he certainly move mountains I remember when we move to Bermondsey that I need to get my twins into the sch near where we lived it was just walking distance less then 10mins my younger son was already there having started reception they my twins and older sister were still at there old sch in Herne Hill we'd move frontal West Norwood to do this track was hard as I had to get them up my 6am to get there for 8am they were the 1st in sch I hated leaving them so early if I didn't there brother would then be late for sch, as hard as this was I had no choice but to do this in the end a friend of mind prayed with and we agree they would be in my half term. We moved in Oct '06 and the following year Nov '07 they were in. God answer my pray by having a mother wait for me to come with my son to tell me there was two spaceies not even the headmistress remember there was 2 space the staff didn't know either, it just so happen that a set if twins left and my twins got in Amen I trusted God and he answered, I believed they would get in and held on to my faith.

  7. In our eyes, we look into a mustard seed as very small, so a mustard seed faith could never remove a huge mountain. But God never breaks His promise to us. We only need to have faith - even as small as a mustard seed. I imagine that a small mustard seed, once it grows, it is big (which represents God)... Nothing is impossible for those who have pure faith, solely focused on Jesus which requires us to get-off our own eyes which only sees the physical size of the mustard seed but rather open our spiritual eyes to see God's great power. We must always believe, trust in Him and not worry about what we can or can not do. We may not be able to throw the mountain (of problems) into the sea , but God is always able.

  8. As the title says, faith is something that one cannot touch or measure but it is unshakable. If we can learn to ours we would overcome anything. Thank you Mrs Esther.
