Fleshly world vs. Spiritual world

"But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His." Romans 8.9

Being in the flesh is to be a prisoner of the heart, to cater to the lusts of the soul and feelings.
Being in the Spirit is to live in the spiritual world, the world of certainty, the conviction and of supernatural faith.
If anyone confesses Jesus as Lord but does not live by faith, he has nothing to do with him.

  1. There are so many people that live by what they feel, and listen to the voice of their heart (emotions). To be in faith is to be in spirit, have a personal relationship with God and practice His word daily.

    God bless.

  3. Living in spirit is so very important, it helps us to open our eyes more and see things in a different way. Building our spiritual life means that we need to build our relationship with God.

  4. We must always be watchful of our spiritual because of this, to see if we are really born of God, if we have His spirit because if not we are not His.

  5. A overly emotional person still does not know God.

  6. What stands out here for me is that faith is the world of certainty and conviction. We have the 21 days of Daniel coming up and my understanding is that one is born of God by faith, baptised with the Holy Spirit by faith, which is the certainty that as He promised, it will be. If I don't live in this certainty, I'll never do what it takes to get this promise, but rather be affected by my heart and live in doubt forever.

As always God leaves the choice to me.

  7. This message reminds me of a conversation I had with someone last week. I saw a story of a lady who lost her husband, a 5 year old daughter and a son who was around 1-2 months old in a car crash. A person (who is not in faith) said to me, 'How can this person go on? They just can't.' As this person was saying this, I thought, yes they can overcome this, it will not be easy, no way, but living in the spiritual world helps us overcome problems, great tragedies and all the struggles of this world. The Spirit of God is the comforter that this world cannot understand.

  8. I believe this is the fight of many people; even me as our flesh is at constant war with the spirit. It says that the flesh lust against the spirit so it has a strong desire not to agree. I know many people that would say, I'm strong & in the faith, then the next day they feel like giving up. What works for me is to be in Spirit & to be of God, to have the Holy Spirit as that guarantees daily strength to overcome the flesh & most importantly you will belong to God; nothing or no one can touch you in this spiritual world. You are protected, safe, happy. I was thinking today how privileged I am to know God. I have peace that so many souls are searching for. Ohhhhhhh, I pray for these souls to find this same peace.

  10. Dear Mrs Ester

I agree with you Mrs Ester, if we confess Jesus as our Lord yet don’t follow His Commandments , we actual lie and deceive our self .but when we live in spiritual world , we may struggles and stumble but the Supernatural faith that comes from God gives us certainty of great victories.

    Thank you Mrs Ester

    God bless

  11. Thank Mrs Ester your message has made me to think especially in the bible verse that point out that if I don't have the spirit of God am not his. this make me want to fight hard to be His.

  12. This is true Mrs. Ester, because how can we understand our Father that is Spirit if we are not Spiritual also? How can we speak about a person that we do not know? God revel Himself to those who seek Him like He is, in Spirit. God bless you

  13. I really agree that being in the flesh is being a prisoner of the heart. You're held captive by your emotions and everything is just a mess. I know because I've been there. To live in the Spirit is the best thing you can do for yourself as well as to have Jesus Christ Himself inside of you.

  14. I was a prisoner of my heart for many years! As a very emotional person my heart used to rule! And why was I emotional? because I liked to feelings that my heart "flesh" was giving me! Self-pity above all! Today I know how to control my feelings, but its a daily fight! Our communion with God will determine which faith are we living! The one in the flesh or the one of the Spirit!

  15. This is so True Mrs Ester,

We have to fight our flesh daily.
This what it is to walk in the spirit is to deny ourselves and our flesh.
There is nothing more important than having a communion with God and living by and in the FAITH.

  16. Dear Mrs Esther,

I have realised whenever a person acts using the flesh the decisions or actions they make are never consistent they will start something here and not finish or be happy at one moment and sad at the next.

Our emotions is a very rocky road to place our life or future on. we can never be sure of anything when we live this way.

Using or spirit is the only thing we can rely on to be our assurance for anything.

  17. I have been asking God what does it mean to live by faith because there were times i thought i was living by faith but i was not. It was pure emotions! It is easy to confess that Jesus Christ is Lord but when hard situations come, when doubt and everything negative comes against you strong, this is the moment we are supposed to live by faith which is to live by the word of God and hold on to it. Its easier said than done but is possible when you have God in you.

  18. We must deny our flesh and live by the spirit. Our heart is deceitful but following Gods way leads us to be born of him and have everlasting life.

Thank you mrs Ester for the message.
