"God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” John 4.24
Because of His holy nature, God rejects the worship of those who DO NOT have the same divine nature.
How could those who are born of the blood, the will of the flesh or the will of man express sublime and profound praises to Someone who is Spirit? Is it possible for the flesh to worship in spirit?
To worship in spirit, you must be born of the Spirit. You must have His DNA, His nature, in other words, you MUST BE SPIRIT!
It's very much impossible for the flesh to worship in Spirit, why? Because the flesh his fleshly, its weak and always want to relax, to please its self, and for us to worship The Spirit we have to be Spirit, to sacrifice, to denie our flesh. To be fleshless.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately many are deceived thinking that they are worshiping in spirit. But only those who have an experience with God (be born again) can truly worship in spirit.

This makes so much sense, if God is Spirit and we worship Him in flesh, it will never reach Him because Spirit and flesh are two conflicting enemies....therefore in order for our worship, praise and even our lives to reach Him, we must be in Spirit.

Hello Mrs Ester, this message has made me understand the clear difference between flesh (emotional or religious) and Spirit. When one is religious they are still of the flesh, of the blood and the will of man which is contrary to the one who recirved a new birth that everything became new, they speak different languges there is no connection
ReplyDeletehello mrs.ester. yes, an apple tree cannot produce a mango. yes, a person who is not born of the spirit cannot worship in spirit vice versa.it is very important to be born of the spirit.

This is exactly what it is. If you're of the flesh there's no way you can connect with the spirit. It's like when you're eating a mango you don't expect to taste apple but mango becaus thats what you're eating. So same way only those who worship God will be in Spirit and in truth
ReplyDeleteIf you are flesh you can not have a relationship with God because God is spirit and His children are also spirit. If you you are flesh you can not understand the Word of God you will always be asking questions about why is that, how come etc.

We must fight to be sealed of the holy spirit if we want to have the same spirit as God. God has given us such a wonderful gift so we must use all our strength and deny our flesh to seek him. We must die from the fruits of the flesh to receive the fruits of the holy spirit.
