Holy Cup

"I will take up the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the Lord." Psalm 116.13
The Cup of Salvation is the Lord Jesus Christ. To take it means committing to Him entirely. It's like a serious marriage, where the couple takes responsibility for each other for life. In relation to the Lord Jesus, marriage is for eternity.

  1. Marriage with God demands work, daily work in order for it to last. Just like any other relationship, the less you invest in it you become distnt from each other. I want my relationship with God, my commitment to Him to be for eternity and this requires me to be constantly investing in it.

  2. Thank you for the message Mrs Ester. When we take the cup of salvation by committing ourselves to Him fully we are also taking the cup of persecution, problems and temptation. None the less we are also taking the cup of life, promised blessings and eternity in paradise. It is a difficult cup but it is worth it.
