"You shall follow what is altogether just, that you may live and inherit the land which the Lord your God is giving you." Deuteronomy 16.20There is no other way. Whosoever wants to save their soul and inherit the Kingdom of Heaven must walk in righteousness. God is not only Righteous but also He also hates unrighteousness. Any sin, no matter how small, is a clear manifestation of unrighteousness, and they are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. (Galatians 5.19-21)

ReplyDeleteSin is an enemy to our soul because it separates mankind from God.
Living in sin it means working for eternal death.
In the same way that our Lord Hates unrighteousness we need to hate sins, because hatred towards sins lead to true repentance

ReplyDeleteTruly there is no other way, just as the bible teaches us to deny ourselves of ungodliness and wordly lust/desires . It teaches us that we should live soberly and rightiously and godly in this present world, to look for that blessed hope and glory of our God and saviour Jesus Christ who gave himself for us , that he might save us from all iniquities unto himself. He wants us to be called his own, people who are zealous of his work and eager to do good. But first we must live a rightious lives and deny ourselves.

Our God is a God of Righteousness and those who are born of Him are
ReplyDeleteHis children they shall live in righteousness. As the bible says the Righteous live by faith and to live by faith is to stay away from sin because Salvation is conquered by faith. One can not serve two Masters it either his loyal to the other and dispise the other. It either God's will to reach the end or one's own will to distraction. God gave his all and conquered the world.
