Never satisfied...

"Hell and Destruction are never full; so the eyes of man are never satisfied." Proverbs 27.20
Hell, the grave and human eyes have this in common: they are never satisfied. Hell and the grave are facts to those already there. But for the living, the worst are the eyes, which, if left unsupervised, will lead to hell.

  2. Good evening Dear Ester,
criticism and fault finding can go on for ever too.
It is also important to remember the "self" when you once looked at your husband and he caused your heart to flutter and every single hello was like a gift, remember Ester, but you've been allowed to be happy together because you were not married to other people and you can celebrate all those years together, so what has hell to do with love between two unmarried people of God? Apart from the dark lord himself not wanting two innocent people to be happy and trying to destroy everything, I am lost to see the condemnation from God, hear it or see it in the Bible.
    God bless

  3. Dear Mrs Ester.
Thank you for sharing this message indeed we need to control or supervise our eyes, because we see, then we think and then we act and in this way sin is concieved so we really need to watch over our eyes lest we fall into sin .

This is true that's why the bible says:
"We live by faith, not by sight" (2 Corinthians 5v7) because when one lives by faith He sees life and all that it brings like God sees everything.
    thank you.

This message is strong just as the bible says the eyes are the lamp of the body, we can actually tell how we are through our eyes, they are either good or evil and if left unsupervised will lead to hell.

If your eyes causes you to sin gouge it out and throw it away, it is better to enter life/kingdom of God with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into the fire of hell.
    (Matthew18v9).

    Thank you for the message.

The eyes usually feed the feelings and takes away reasoning and the fear of the Lord and make a person to indulge deeper and deeper into the deceiving pleasure of the eyes and the flesh. We should never allow our eyes to be like a candid camera, but we should discipline our eyes daily.

If only people could guard their eyes around the clock, they could avoid ending up in hell. We have to be careful of what we allow to enter our hearts because of what we see.
Thank you for the strong message.

  9. Dear Mrs Ester
Thank you Mrs Ester, it's true our eyes can deceive us, if we use our eyes with emotion then our eyes can lead us to death. We need to always watch and be careful not to allow our eyes control our feelings.

it is true and i hope that we learn from this verse because what our eyes see our hearts want, and we sometimes work hard to achieve those things forgetting our primary goals, to do the will of God.We should not be deceived by appearances because what may look good on the outside could be filthy on the inside.

    Thank you for the message

  11. The word of God says,'' we must Watch and Pray. To watch is to keep our eyes open that we may see but the truth is the eye deceives and takes what it sees in to heart and that is the danger of the eyes course not everything that is witnessed and desired by the eye is good. As the eyes are the lamb of the Body, it is very important that we should guide our eyes. when we watch and pray God takes charge. The aim of the Devil is to use whatever to distract the people of God.

Thanks for the Message Mrs Ester May God bless you
