Your eyes

"The lamp of the body is the eye. Therefore, when your eye is good, your whole body also is full of light. But when your eye is bad, your body also is full of darkness." Luke 11.34
While good eyes appreciate the beauty of virtue, evil eyes do not rest until they find faults within the details. Good eyes always see the good in people, but evil eyes will always have criticism.

  1. This is one of those teachings that surprises one with its practical application. I'm amazed when I talk to a non-Christian friend how eager they are to point out faults in others, and how quickly a Christian friend will try to find that good concealed.

  2. It is very easy to point out the fault of others, but sometimes the problem maybe within ourselves. If we look to people with bad eyes we will recieve also. Everyone makes mistakes we just need to find a way to help instead of being judgemental.
