Joy

"My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience."

James 1: 2-3

The Christian testing is not made out of health, family, or financial problems, but out of the cause we suffer for the Lord Jesus. Injustice, persecution, criticism because of our faith are just some of the trials we go through which should bring us reasons for joy. Rejoice in suffering for the cause of the Lord Jesus.

Once approved, that was my word of the day, it is useless to confront or move probations if in the end we will not have any benefit reprobate
But once approved, ahhhh .... we will grow and enjoy the benefits of faith.

  2. Thanks for this post! It's true indeed. This kind of suffering, when endured, also brings us closer to God. The way I think about it is that if I'm pleasing God and I see the devil getting angry, then I can rejoice because I know that I'm on the right track, and that allows me to continue and look forward.

  3. Thank you for the verse...At the moment of the tribulation or trials it is not easy to just hang on because the devil trys so hard put us down and to make us to give up on our faith.
if our faith is not tested we tend to relax an become comfortable.
trials happen to revive our faith and to keep us fighting until the end.

  4. Going through any tribulation or persecution for the sake of Jesus' Name or His work is worth it, because it is nothing compared to what He went through for us. Plus the reward that we receive in the end is much more than what we went through.

  5. Going through trials is really one of the ways that you can no that you are on the right track because our Lord Jesus went through the same thing.

  6. Counting it joy when you are going through tough times can only be done by pure faith! It goes against everything we feel at the moment. We show the devil that we are tougher than any problem he throws at us. God's word proves that we can have joy when we decide to, not just when we feel like it. Great verse!

  7. It completely goes with the quote "sorrow is better than laughter". I completely agree when you say that this type of suffering should be the one that comes from Following the Lord Jesus - not through suffering.

  8. When we follow the Lord with all our heart, trials come and our Joy grows. We know the devil puts trial on us because he is not happy, with what we are doing using our Faith.

  12. Paul rejoiced in his suffering for Christ actually he used to boast for the suffering he went through. Trials are what refine us as Christians and through them we should grow closer to God and not be far from Him. Through Him we overcome any trials, even through the desert we become strong and overcomer's.
    Thank you Mrs Ester.

If we "suffer" for the Lord today, tomorrow we will have the reward.

  14. This is so true when we suffer for the name of Jesus (though it can hurt) it's still a privilege we as sinners don't even deserve that. Thank you for the post.

  16. Sometimes all these things go wrong, and many persecutions come because of our faith. But we must remain true and loyal to the Lord, for He will carry us through.

  17. Thanks Mrs. Ester! When I'm going through tribulations I find strength within the promise of God. And this verse in particular brings me joy for I know I'm doing something right for the Lord and I'm not alone!
