Just like Job's body was filled with tumors, so do people feel in their spirit. Only the power of God - that is, the Holy Spirit, can clean them inside out.

ReplyDeleteWhen we are physically sick we know because we get 'symptoms'. Maybe a cough, sore throat, vomiting, depending on what is wrong.
Our body is very good at letting us know when we are unwell.
I also think we have symptoms when we are spiritually sick, we gossip, have no control of our emotions, feel weak, etc.
This is why for me it is so important to have the Holy Spirit, to be clean (well) inside and out. Only God's Presence can do this!
This is very true. My spirit used to have tumours of depression and insecurities. But when I received the Holy Spirit I was cleansed. I felt so free and clean. And having the Holy Spirit really does give that feeling; even that assurance that you are clean.
ReplyDeletein order for our body to be filled with the Spirit of God we need to be clean inside. clean from all grudges, past pains, hatred, etc, letting go of all these it can be difficult but with God's help it will be possible to be clean inside, making room for Him to dwell inside.
ReplyDeleteFor the holy sprit to enter inside us we have to be clean but completely clean. We can have no specks of dirt inside of us and we need to be washed from sll forms of grudges, hatred, malice etc. Although its hard, the holy spirit brings a much greater reward and fills all those empty spaces.
ReplyDeleteThe Holy Spirit can only enter us when we are clean off everything of the world. He represents everything good and clean, therefore how can He dwell in a dirty place full of hatred, grudges, uncleansiness etc. He can only come when we are clean from everything of the world.
ReplyDeleteYeah some people wonder why there always up & down in there faith, Sometimes they come to the church sometimes they don't. It is because they don't have the Holy Spirit which they need so they can be cleaned inside out.
