"And so it is written, 'The first man Adam became a living being.' The last Adam became a life-giving spirit." 1 Corinthians 15:45
Through Adam, we're now living beings, CREATURES of God. But through the Lord Jesus, we've become life-giving spirits, children of God. That's when the new life begins, the Spirit of the Most High comes and live within us.
Only with the holy spirit and truly have a life . holy spirit fills us day by day

ReplyDeleteI understood that the first Adam was created physically, meaning we were just creatures of God, who was made by Him; we hadn’t yet belonged to Him fully. This was why the last Adam was sent down to us, to make us into life-giving spirits, by the Holy Spirit. God’s purpose for the Lord Jesus was already prophesied; therefore it had to be fulfilled. When we are finally baptised with the Holy Spirit we then stop being just Gods ‘creatures’ and then we move to becoming something even greater!; His child. This is one of the highest privilege we could receive to be accounted as His child, rather than just another creature! Once baptised with the Holy Spirit, a new person is born therefore a new life begins... But this time with the Lord Jesus within Him.

ReplyDeleteHaving received a new life is so wonderful to think that before ever knowing who Jesus is life was meaningless but now i have been made a life-giving spirit. how wonderful is that.
