CORRUPT WORDS

"Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers."
     Ephesians 4.29
When your life is transformed, your words are for edification and to bless others. They would never be used to plant hatred or discord. Those who are born of the Spirit are Spirit, speak like the Spirit and act like the Spirit of God.

Thanks Mrs Ester. We should be careful with the words that proceed out of mouth because the word of God says our words has power of death and life so as a child of God i should be an example by planting a good seed of life to those that i live with for the glory of my Father.

  3. Everyday because we see and hear different things, we tend to speak about the things which happened. I have a choice in speaking good or bad about things, people and situations! What makes us stand out when we have the Spirit of God is when were positive about situations!

  4. This blog is very strong...WORDS CAN MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE IN LIVES! PeoplE who are not of the Spirit may be very fragile. Fragile in a sense where NEGATIVE WORDS may bring them all the way down..as far as suicide. POSITIVE WORDS they hear, on the other hand, may bring them all the way up to help them decided to become of the Spirit and then become FIRM. When one is firm of the Spirit, it is a blessing to know which WORDS to take in and which to throw out.

  5. Hello Mrs Ester
yes its vital that we should be born of God and have his charater the way that we speak what proceeds out of my mouth should bless the person i am talking to not curse them or impose hatred.i personally believe that its close to impossible to not listen to to your conscience when you are born of GOD and it really bugs you more so that you dont fall into temptation no matter how much you boil

  6. Without the character of God it will be hard for us to keep obeying his word, but also I have the choice to speak what is good or bad God give us free choice.

  10. So true Mrs Esther. And how sad it is that we children of the light do not realise that. We keep confessing weakness which in turn brings darkness to our lives and the lives of our friends. We are unable to bless each other because we do not realise the power in the word.

The tongue has power of death and life. so its all up to me whether i use my mouth to bless myself or bring curse upon my life. i have learned to control my tongue after i knew this word of God. Now i use my mouth to bring life myself and those around me.

    Good Evening Mrs Ester!
Is true, if we do not think before speak, we can injure someone up and put ourselves in a nasty situation.

  13. Amen. I agree with that but I know that this attitude does nt just come to us overnight. It takes someone operating in the spirit to have this kind of attitude and that requires seeking the spirit of God first of all and a lot of sacrifice; sacrifice of self and sacrifice of the world. The word of God says 'Do not be conformed to the world but Be ye transformed by the renewing of your minds'. This renewal of the mind requires us to read the word of God, meditate and know it, the more we spend time doing this, the more God's ways will rub of on us and all of a sudden we'll begin to see a transformation.

It is very true when we are of the spirit we have to be very concious of what we say because to us we might be saying something to help a person but they might take it in the wrong way.

  15. Hi Mrs.Esther
The word of God always builds yes, our lives always in blessing and never in discord, and teaches us to look at everything with good eyes ... sometimes we say something with a good intention and we do not know how we are being played .
    thanks for this post Mrs.Esther.
    kisses!

  16. Hello......
I for one love to speak and sometimes I have to confess I tend to speak about things that a meaningless or pointless. I try hard to cut down my talking because I have realised that it leads me to conversations that are not necessary and then I end up saying something that will either make the other person feel bad or change their minds about a good decision they've made. This has truly help me a lot.
    Thank you

  17. Yes Mrs Ester, Thats it when we are born of God it should be seen by our character, attitudes and what cmes out of our mouth that will bless others.
    Amen

  18. Agreed Mrs. Ester, because what we can say at times can perceive the person we are and make a big impact on our personality so watching what we say and speaking like the spirit allows us to be born of the spirit.
    Thank You x

  20. Its painful when you said something that you were not suppose to say, that is why a women of God thinks before saying anything with her mouth. Her words are there to build but not to destroy....because of the fear of God inside her

    Thanks Mrs Ester....

  25. Most of the time people get into trouble because of what they say, at times understood. We should learn to be discreet and think before we utter anything. Like a builder our words should be few and be an inspiration to those who hear it.

  28. This is such an important message especially to us who call ourselves children of God. If we are His children then we can't speak the way the world speaks. We can't be found among gossips or among people who put down and criticise others. Our words shouldn't be to kill but rather to uplift/build up. We often forget this important fact especially when we're found among people who don't share our faith (at work, school or even at home). There's no point in proclaiming to be Christians if we don't act or speak like Christ Himself. This message is for us all - less bad mouthing and more edification!

  29. Amen, because we are truly blessed and ths is very very important I am amazed at how humble I have become im sitting here smiling to myself just thinking how I use to be and how far God has brought me. When we speak, no matter who it is too, it has to be of Gods teaching even if the person you are talking to does not realise it at the time. We have to talk to people in a language they understand but in God's way so they also get the message we are trying to give to them, we who are of God represent him so if we talk badly it makes our lord look bad we have to have a desire to be more like him so that we can be a vessel he can work through.

Words are one of the strongest weapons available to mankind, capable of building or destroying the strongest fortresses…’before we open our mouths we should think’.
    T -is it true
    H -is it Helpful
    I -is it inspiring
    N -is it necessary

  31. This verse reminds me that what we say shows what is inside of us and if we are not in the right condition then corruption will flow out naturally.

  32. Our words have so much power. We could be the ones to make the difference in a situation through our words that could really make a difference. Also somewhere in the Bible,it speaks about how what comes from our mouths is what Is in our hearts. Corrupt words= corrupt heart.

  33. Hi MRS ESATER

WE NEED TO BE CEARFULL WITH THE WORDS THAT COME OUT OF OUR MOUTH, AS OUR MOUTH IS A PAWERFULL WEPON. THE SAME WAY GOD USES IT TO BLESS US WE NEED TO USE IT TO BLESS OTHER.

  34. Dear Mrs Ester,
I would like to thank you for this message. It is important to be careful with the words that come out of your mouth becase some people are sensitive and you can easily hurt them with your words. One should choose the right words to say because saying the wrong thing and the wrong time can bring bad consequences.
