NOR GIVE PLACE

"... nor give place to the devil."                                                         Ephesians 4.27
This advice from God may sound strange. However, during the time of Paul, some disciples were already giving place to the devil by allowing sorrow and grief into their hearts.

  3. If The Devil doesn't give up then we must continue fighting to make sure that he has no place in our lives.

  4. The devil is always looking for any gap to enter into our lives..we must always be cautious, watchful and we should be prayerful. If we keep our focus on God, we will not give room to the devil.

  5. As disiples of the Lord Jesus we must be extra careful not to fall in the devils trap. We must make sure we're not holding things in our hearts, having bad eyes or have mood swings etc because even though these things may start as small things... The devil can already use that to his advantage. We must make sure we have nothing that he can use against us.

Thanks Mrs Ester, we must say "NO" to the devil, not giving him any chance to put grief in ours, when we lose something or face a challenge, instead of grief, let us give praise to God remanding ourselves the things we have received from God and telling Him that He did set ours free from the past, we do believe He can do it again.

  7. The devil will always try to bring many problems inside my life and many other's lives but if we carry on fighting and not use our emotions we will conquer all things and mainly satan as his goal is to kill.steal and destroy, so everyday is a fight.

  8. Hi Mrs Ester,

I believe this is the exactly reason why the devil goes around the a roaring Lion, seeking for whom to devour. the devil is just looking for a space to enter and totally destroy but he won't be able to enter in if WE don't give him place.
    Thank you for this message.

  10. Thank you Mrs Ester for this strong message. God really give us good advices and we should listen to them. Sometimes we do not see that we give the devil a place when we are sad or sorrowful.

  11. Reading this message has made me realise even more how cunning the devil is. he uses every weapon to break us and we should also use everthing we got to destroy him and his kingdom. Your message has also shown me that taking total control of my emotions is another way of preventing him from entering into my life.#
    Thanks Mrs.Ester for this message.

  16. Mrs Ester thank you for this message. While reading it I remembered my own grief. When my grandmother passed away in 2007 I was consumed by grief and sorrow. It was so sudden and I just couldn't understand why it had happened. I asked myself many questions and even went as far as to blame God for my sorrow. After much sadness and depression I eventually realised that my sorrow only drew satan closer to my life, my heart. Deaths happen, we know and should understand this fact. But it seems a bit too much to comprehend when you're weak spiritually.

The sorrow I had is now in a time long passed. I'm no longer sorrowful nor do I grieve my grandmothers death anymore. Satan lost his hold over my heart and that was only because I chose to surrender all to Jesus.

  17. Thank you Mrs. Ester for the message
When we allow grief, sorrow, doubts, fear etc. to live in our heart, in this way we're opening a place for the devil to dwell in us. So its important that we keep examining our hearts.

  19. Thank you for this message and as God is saying we must not give a place to the devil, I keep my mind always busy thinking about God. Because once I start openning a gap in my mind, the devil won't waste, he will come and destroy me one time.

    God bless.
