"Thus says the Lord God:’ He who hears, let him hear; and he who refuses, let him refuse; for they are a rebellious house'." Ezekiel 3.27The Holy Bible can be summed up in two words: listen and obey. Those who have spiritual ears listen and obey. Not only do they listen, but they also obey.
Those who disobey are rebellious just like Lucifer was and will suffer the consequences of their rebelliousness.
Perhaps a person can refuse to obey because they think they know better. Those who hear God's voice and do what He says are actually wise because God will always say things for a reason.

Hello Mrs Ester very strong words, disobedience leads to spiritual death resulting in the person losing their salvation. It important that we not only listen to the word of God but also obey , because often Christians will easily listen to the word of God but find it hard to obey.

Thank you Mrs Ester for this message. Disobedience is what makes us suffer and to be far from God. It is important to listen and obey the word of God even if it is hard. Sometimes the word of God is not easy and sometimes you read a verse that rebukes you, you have to obey it for God discipline those He loves. Obedience is better than sacrifice or anything you can offer God.

Mrs Esther this is simple an to the point, if you can not obey God then you can not fight spiritually all who can hear let him hear. We can all listen but it is only a few who can listen an obey an put into practice what they have learned so that we can grow more to please him.

ReplyDeleteI believe it is not a big deal to listen and obey.If you are not obeying though you heard it means you are being rebellious to God like you said.Most of people including me have a tendency of listening to the word of God but when we go outside we don't put into practice what we heard.To say 'i believe' is easy but if you are disobedient to what God is telling you to do, your belief is nothing.
It is not enough to hear the word of GOD because it profits us nothing but also we have to put it into ACTION
