"Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ..." Romans 5.1Faith gives us peace with God. We obey the Word of God by faith. The kind of faith that does not give you peace with God is rebellious faith.
If your faith does not bring you inner peace, your soul is in danger of losing its salvation.
Thank you. I'm reading a lot about faith this week, for some reason, I keep coming across posts/blogs about faith. Maybe God wants me to learn more about faith.

Disobedience to the word of God neutralizes once faith in Him. If sin it in control then faith will not work in power. That is why the Bible says: resist the devil and he will flee from you. One cannot go to war with the sword of faith but a disobedient heart, because that person will never make it alive. Faith Can and Faith Will but an obedient faith.

ReplyDeleteThat is so true. We sometimes become so determined to doing things that do not give us peace and hide behind Faith. Faith is the weapon of God and God is the father of peace. we cant hide or try to decorate wrong doing, if it is wrong it wont give us peace.

ReplyDeleteRebellious faith is like a tool that satan uses against many christians becaus satan knows that when we rebel we wount see any result and we will end up sleeping in our faith up to the point where we decide to abadoned faith

ReplyDeleterebelion does not come from God it comes from the devil. The devil is the originator of rebelion he rebelled from the begining and those who rebel against any authority is like the devil. It is important to have faith and obedience.
This is really thought provoking and leads me to think about myself and the kind of faith I have... Another way of identifying rebellious faith is seeing how we are in terms of doing things for God... If we want to do things our own way, when we want, this is also rebellious!

What type of faith we have.
When we use faith to overcome things in life, to turn our lives around, To obey God's Word, we are pleasing Him and this faith gives peace,assurance . I never knew of a rebellious faith, but its true , when we go ahead and use our faith because its what we want and we want it NOW..sometimes in Love life, finacial life and then when we get them, there nothing but trouble and give no peace.Our Faith must bring Peace. very eye opening thank you..x
