Persevere

"But he who endures to the end shall be saved." Matthew 24.13

Certainly, perseverance has not been the strongest trait of the majority. However, there is no other alternative to achieve the salvation of the soul.
Why?
Because the devil perseveres in his quest of getting back the souls he lost. And whoever is more perseverant wins. Those who get discouraged lose.
That is why Jesus exhorts us to persevere to the end.

  1. Dear Mrs Ester,

Just reading your post and being reminded that the devil perseveres to get the soul back that he has lost makes me revolt even more.

In the midst of the battle this is what I think to myself 'remember where God took me from, He said he will never forsake me and if I don't persevere the devil certainly will! until he destroys me and those you are fighting for, taking us to hell'.

Thank you for this message, it's always good to be reminded the importance of perseverance!

    God bless you,

  2. Dear Mrs Ester and thank you for the message!

Like Lisa is saying, if one could just remember where they are coming from, it would be easy to remember that it was not easy, so why lose it easily, over the devil's sweet nothings.

I ask myself why all the toil, the fasts, the sacrifices, the time, the prayers, for what, if at the end I lose my salvation. I should remind myself how much the devil hates me, so he doesnt deserve my soul. Thank you, It is not easy, but it is possible with God.

  4. Perseverance is important to receive salvation. There will be many obstacles and temptations along the way, but we have to remember God’s promise and fight until the end. We are taught in the UCKG, that although we are fighting for the blessings, we must watch and pray. We must guard our spiritual life as it is more precious than riches. We must also apply perseverance in the things we fight for but remember to put God first.

Thank you for the message Mrs Ester.

Thank you for this reminder Mrs Esther.
