"For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds" 2 Corinthians 10.4
Non carnal weapons means spiritual weapons.
And why spiritual weapons?
Because if our war is against the spiritual forces of evil, how to overcome them if we do not have spiritual weapons?
And how could we possess spiritual weapons if we are not spiritual?
And how to be spiritual if we are not born of the Spirit?
This is a very strong message, it’s like when the king of Persia prepare himself for battle and gather all the possible high-tech weapons of today to fight against the Spartans who prepared themselves for war using swords and shields.
ReplyDeleteWe need to be born of the Spirit in order to even being considered for God’s army.
And to be in God’s army we need the full Amor of God as given in Ephesians 6v11.
And to demolish strongholds of evil, we have the Word of God, His Authority and the name of Jesus.
We are considered stronger when we invest more on our spiritual strength than having physical strength... Someone can literally slap or punch you in the face, you get wounded, and it easily can be healed. But if you are weak spiritually, once you are bombarded with problems, you are easily defeated and destroyed and it is hard for you to move on, you have no strength to fight and overcome. If you are strong spiritually, come what may, whatever problem, obstacle, or battle you may face... you have courage and strength to fight because you see each problem as very, very small compared to the GREAT GOD who is always with you. God will never fail those who truly believe in Him!

Dear Mrs Ester, what is written is true nobody who goes to fight without the weapon and in our case we need to clothe ourselves with spirit as we are on a spiritual fight.

Thank very much for the powerful message.We have to be born of the spirit of God in order for us to use the Spiritual Weapon because if a person is not born of God's Spirit ,they can not have an understanding about the Spiritual Weapon ,otherwise we will be fighting ,carrying empty guns without bullets inside. It is good for us to know the difference, and is olny when we are born of God that we can have the mind of christ, because we no longer think the way we use to and that we are able to use the spiritual weapons.
