"Then you shall again discern between the righteous and the wicked, between one who serves God and one who does not serve Him." Malachi 3.18
Those who
are born of the Spirit are essentially different.
If a person
says he or she is a child of God but their behaviour is not different from
those who live according to the course of this world, they are deceiving
themselves.
Those who
are born of the Spirit bear the image of God Almighty, that is, His character.
The only
way the world will see and know the invisible God is through His children.
As Jesus
said, "Who sees Me sees the Father."
I agree Mrs Esther. Those who have the Spirit of God wouldn't even have to strive to be different because it would naturally be in their nature.

ReplyDeleteI am the point of contact with my family for example if they see me going in and out of church and there is no change there is no way they will want to follow the God that i say i serve. therefore I need to be truelly born of God and be a reference of Him everywhere I go.

There should always be a clear difference we should not be fake and try to be fake because there is only soo long that can last. Our fruits will automatically show if we are born of him and this is what we should strive for, to bear good fruit rather than rotten ones.

ReplyDeleteI'm also the point of contact for my family and if they can't see the change in me why would they want to know God. They know where to find me even if they ask me "mom u going to church?" they need to see that joy that peace I have from God, so this 21 days I have to seek and be seal with the Holy Spirit.

This is true, as soon as we receive the spirit of God, we have to be the difference in this world, we can no longer do the things they are costumed to do. Its as though God makes us into a new person and through that new person, people see and desire to have the qualities we have. Thank you Mrs Ester for this message.

If we are truly born of God then we can only have His character...the fruits of our life will always show who we really are. Everyday for the rest of my life I really want my life to be a reference for others to see Him through me and come to know Him and become one of His children.

ReplyDeleteToday I was thinking this same thing as I was on the bus and I realised that I still had the same amount of leaflets I took yesterday for the event on Friday. And I noticed a friend of mine whom I went to school with but at first I started contrmplating about speak to him. But then I thought to myself if you say you have my Spirit then how can you not be bold to go speak to him and immediately I didn't just go to him I started with the people who were sitting by my side and I not only gave them the leaflet but explained to them about the services as well as use my life as a testimony for them. An then I went and gave one to my friend and afterwards reflecting on it I thought those who have His Spirit aren't afraid of what time or say neither the location but all that matters is saving the souls. There has to be a difference between those who are of Him and those aren't.
Very true our lives is what preaches the gospel to unbelievers not just with our mouths!!

ReplyDeleteAs a child growing up my parents always say to me that I should observe a persons ways and not what they speaks because their actions speaks much more than the words they speaks.

Mrs Esther i have to shine among the world. It is a must, otherwise, what is the point to have God.
I have to be a reference. People refer themselves on singers, politicians. Bu I have to different than those people by being different inside.

We believe in Someone so great so how can we accept to conquer the small things of the world or to be the same as those in the world? We have to aim higher and see the vision God has for each one of us. Even in the way we conquer the blessings have to be extraordinary.
