Jeremiah 2.3To be holy to the LORD means to be His property. To be the first fruits of the harvest of the Lord means to be His tithe. That is how Israel was before the Most High. What is your situation before the LORD: are you or were you consecrated unto the LORD? Are you or were you the tithe of the LORD?

ReplyDeletesomething wonderful happened Ester, there was a change and it was wonderful, and i was able to accept a fantastic gift, after my sacrifice, and after over 9 years, a home like a haven, something really beautiful, at last the future appears to be taking shape, just my health next, but it's amazing, i woke up tired, now i can't keep still, thank you God, you are wonderful, nice neighbours! very observant and pleasant!

That is why everyday in the morning I make sure I give my 10% to God not just in my tithe but in my life. It is showing that we are putting him first above everything.
ReplyDeleteOur lives must be given as tithes to God. First fruits doesn't only mean we should be faithful in our tithes but with our lives to. Do we acknowledge God in all we do? Are we faithful, holy and separated? Are we God's equivalent of Israel today?

What i understood from this message is that tithe isn't just money but your life before God. How have i been before Him? Now that's something for me to think about

ReplyDeleteGod is a merciful God when we honour him he honour's us, sometimes we want to see big things to know he is looking out for us, but we have to take acount the little things he does for us as well because if he never also took care of the small things they would turn into big disaster's.
I honour God with my tithe first and then my offering's giving always when I have and even when I do not, showing love and kindness to all no matter how they treat me and obey him, because that is what he wants from us. While I was in Israel I faced a problem that made me panic just hearing about it, but then I thought let me do what I can and leave the rest to God. I have just resently been asking myself, would God do this, how would God handle that situation, would this please my God if I done this and Mrs Ester for sure he answer's you and you make the right decision we have to ALWAYS look to God.

Wow this just shows you how important it is to present your first fruits to God & not just your tithe but yourself. Thinking about Him as soon as you wake up, seeking His spirit. Showing Him how important He is to you in your life.
ReplyDeleteI am the tithe of God but it's not guaranteed that i will be tomorrow. Everyday I have to fight against my flesh, be perseverant and watch my self to remain the first fruit of God.

On the topic of Israel and being the first fruit, I learnt in the Biblical garden in Israel that when an olive is pressed theere are different qualities of oil that come out of that olive the first oil is the most expensive oil (extra virgin) and is readily used in ceremonies in Israel, the second oil is less valuable.

Hi Mrs Ester i see that when we belong to God complete we are His tithe is property and no one can touch our lives for in everything we put Him first,when we are His property he takes care of us and we should walk in Holiness has He is holy,He should be first in our live.

This is an eye opener its not enough to be consecrated to the Lord but much rather a tithe. His property, what is rightfully His, this depends on me being God's Tithe comes down to my commitment.

I am God property though im consecrated to him but every day of my life He should be my first fruit.
God's property, that is a beautiful and sobering thought. It is only things that are valuable to us that we regard as 'property' and something to be taken care of. Everything else is for a moment but to be God's property is an honour becuase you know you are precious and worth caring for by the one true Father.
