"He will yet fill your mouth with laughing, and your lips with rejoicing." Job 8.21This has to happen to those who receive the heavenly gift, the baptism with the Holy Spirit. Their lives must flow rivers of peace, joy and life so that it overflows to bless others as well.

Thank you Mrs Esther for your encouraging words. Especially the ones of last week which states that if we have the Holy Spirit in us, there must be a difference between us and those who does not. This difference must be seen in our character.

When someone receives the Holy Spirit you notice. Just like you say Mrs Esther, the peace, joy and life will overflow in such a way that it would be impossible for anyone not to see it. Someone who doesn't have the Holy Spirit would yearn to have hat that happy person has.
ReplyDeleteWhen someone receive the holy spirit the fruits shows, they always bring life to other peoples lives. Even when they are going a lot there is always this sense of happiness and rejoice in them.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree The Spirit of God is seen through as naturally not by force as the river flows naturally so also the Spirit of God flows through a person.

This is exactly what the fruits should be. Those who har been baptised with ten Spirit of God can bring joy to others and sometimes without them even knowing. It is indeed beautiful an at times we don't realise what God has given to us, it's just too beautiful and powerful.

ReplyDeleteI like this verse very much as it talks about the true joy that comes from when you are truly baptised in the holy spirit. Joy does not just come and go when the holy spirit come upon us - it literally flows at every moment especially in good times!! Thank you for sharing Mrs Esther!

ReplyDeleteYes and when others see the blessing they themselves will want the same thing and thats how God works. That is our seal to being an Ambassador for God the fruits have to be seen clearly making a clear difference between those wo don't and those who have. You can not fake these because as Bishop said one day you will explode.

When the Holy Spirit comes upon us all the flowing rivers of peace, joy and life work in a cycle like the stream flows into the river, the river into the sea and so on and comws back round all cleaned and renewed. through it journey it overflows and blessed barren and droughty lands passing on life. God doesn't just give us the Holy Spirit so that we can say we have the Holy Spirit. But He gave it to us so that we can receive peace, joy,salvation and all the gifts of the Holy Spirit and then we can also pass that on to others. By bringing joy to others, passing on life to people, saving others. I can't just be a person that says I have the Holy Spirit and that's it, I have to be someone that has the Holy Spirit and am a useful tool for God.

ReplyDeleteWhen I read this I was not able to put the comment on the day. But as the day passed by the key word that God was showing was FILL meaning there was no room for anything else. And God showed me this is why those who have His Spirit are different just as Living God is different(overcome everything).

I totally agree Dna Ester, God gives us His Spirit not only so that we can be saved, but so that others may be saved too. Therefore our lives must be of a good testimony.

ReplyDeleteIn truth and in fact only those that are zeal with the Holy Spirit are able to experience the true happiness. Today we have true laughter and the false laughter. Many people laugh and smile to pertain as if they are happy, but deep inside they are miserable. Therefore we, who experience the true laughter, must be able to use our lips to lift up the faith of others so that they too can experience from God the true joy, peace and happiness from deep inside.

And due to the Holy Spirit giving you all the above, people will be wondering why you are happy and peaceful all the time and desire to have the same, speaking from experience especially during exams times and awaiting results, my friends will call me freaking out and i was like for me no matter what, i gave my all and whatever God gives me i will glorify him. They think we are the unusual ones but not knowing that they are for not longing to have what we have.
