CORRUPT WORDS

"Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers."
     Ephesians 4.29
When your life is transformed, your words are for edification and to bless others. They would never be used to plant hatred or discord. Those who are born of the Spirit are Spirit, speak like the Spirit and act like the Spirit of God.

NOR GIVE PLACE

"... nor give place to the devil."                                                         Ephesians 4.27
This advice from God may sound strange. However, during the time of Paul, some disciples were already giving place to the devil by allowing sorrow and grief into their hearts.

ANGER

"Be angry, and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your wrath, nor give place to the devil."       Ephesians 6.26-27
The world we live in does not allow us to be perfect. There are moments where we get angry. However, we cannot allow this anger to turn into grief. Before the sun goes down that anger must give way to repentance and forgiveness.
By doing this, the devil will not find any gaps to enter into your life.

HEAR

"Thus says the Lord God:’ He who hears, let him hear; and he who refuses, let him refuse; for they are a rebellious house'."         Ezekiel 3.27
The Holy Bible can be summed up in two words: listen and obey. Those who have spiritual ears listen and obey. Not only do they listen, but they also obey.
Those who disobey are rebellious just like Lucifer was and will suffer the consequences of their rebelliousness.

REBELLIOUS FAITH

"Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ..."     Romans 5.1
Faith gives us peace with God. We obey the Word of God by faith. The kind of faith that does not give you peace with God is rebellious faith.
If your faith does not bring you inner peace, your soul is in danger of losing its salvation.

NOW

"Moses My servant is dead. Now therefore, arise, go over this Jordan, you and all this people, to the land which I am giving to them—the children of Israel."Joshua 1.2
Joshua was greatly affected by the death of Moses. This is when the Lord uplifted him by saying: Moses is dead. Until when will you keep mourning? Arise, NOW, and take hold of the promised land.
To live by faith is to leave the burdens of the past behind and move forward.
Forget the past, look ahead and firmly continue in the direction of achieving your goal.

ONE THING I DO

"...but one thing I do: forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus."      Philippians 3.13-14
Paul was wise. He made sure to put the past behind him, in order to move forward towards the future. Intelligent faith requires us to do the same. On the other hand, emotional faith insists on remembering the past to counteract the faith of the Spirit of God.
Anyone who wants to obtain eternal salvation must forget about their past.
